Stence, Mrs. A.A. Kerr, Mrs. William Gantz of Wooster, Mrs. Elizabeth Weddell, Fred and Richard, daughter Lucy and son William died when children, married Harriett Jones 22 Apr 1849 at Stepney Gevernment Church in London, England, groom a few weeks past 20 and bride a few weeks till 20, to US 6 years after marriage settling E of Ashland, 48 years ago to Ashland, celebrated 60th wedding anniversary on 22 April 1909.

CLARK, Mrs. David C. - Mary K. - died at home 228 Broad St. Tuesday, 60y7m12d, nee Mary Lauterbaugh, born Ashland 15 May 1851, children: William and Mrs. Hattie Smith, brother Charles Lauterbaugh of Illiapolis IL, sisters: Mrs. Ida Ferguson and Mrs. L.A. Gorz of Ashland, buried Ashland Cemetery.

SANDERS, Miss Mary, died at Infirmary fore part of last week, d/o Peter, 73y1m13d, born 9 Nov 1839, brother Samuel Sanders of Garrett IN, buried family lot in Plum Run Cemetery.

NEWCOMER, Dorothy, d/o W.L. of Mansfield, 50 Orchard St., formerly of Ashland, 5y, drowned Thursday in outside "closet", 7 other children survive.

GREENWALD, Mrs. Howard L., of Canton, nee Jeanette Benninghof, "Nettie", died Friday at home at corner of Short and Meyer Ave, son 4 years old, sisters: Mrs. W.A. Mason and Mrs. I.W. Copeland of Ashland, brothers: John and William A. Benninghof of Ashland and I.T. of Cleveland, buried Ashland Cemetery.

FASIG, Floyd H., died Tuesday, 34y9m23d, born Ashland 8 Mar 1878, s/o L.C. of 359 Orange St., married 6 years ago last Aug to Olive Parks, child: Mary Helen age 5y, brother Lee B., sister Mrs. Flossie M. Burris w/o Charles C., one brother died very young, Co E 8th Reg, buried Ashland Cemetery.

MOULTER, Margaret, died at home on E. Main St. Thursday, 2 Jan; 73y; husband survives; son J.R.; buried Danville, Knox Co. OH.

GILL, William, died Saturday at home of daughter in Wooster; 83y; CW Vet; son George, the Main St. grocer.

FREEBORN, James Harvey, born near Savannah, formerly of Ashland, died at home in San Diego CA 27 Dec 1912, buried Greenwood Cemetery in San Diego, wife and several children survive, s/o John.

FIGLEY, Agnes, w/o George who died abt 30 years ago, she died Wednesday at home of daughter Mrs. J.N. Atherton of Mansfield, 94 years ago, born PA 5 Aug 1818, son Albert C. of 6 miles W of Mansfield, sister Mrs. Anna Carnes Cook of WA, buried Ashland Cemetery.

FLETCHER, J.H., of Jeromesville, died Sunday.

KAUGMAN, Linda, 94y, died 2 Jan at home of daughter Mrs. B.B. Hout of 4 miles E of Mansfield, d/o Leonard Croninger who died 23 years ago, married Daniel Kauffman 1843, 7 children: 3 survive Mrs. Marie Coe of Hayesville, Mrs. Anna Charles of Ada and Mrs. Hout; husband, 2 sons and 2 daughters died previously, oldest son John F. died in CW; grandfather Joseph Croninger was Rev War soldier; buried Lutheran Church Cemetery in Mifflin beside husband.

SWOPE, Thomas A., born Troy Twp. 22 Dec 1849, died 22 Dec 1912, 63y, married Rebecca Wise 27 Aug 1868, daughter Mrs. M.D. Markel, buried Nova Cemetery.

GALLOWAY, Mrs. Mary A., died Monday at home of daughter Mrs. Jane Robinson of Church St., buried Bethesda Chapel Cemetery.

KOEHL, Emma, died at Center St. home on Monday.

STONER, David B., died Tuesday at home near Paradise Hill, fell from hay mow to barn floor, 63y, wife and son Earl survive, also a niece and brothers Jacob and John, buried in Imhoff Cemetery.

FERRELL, Mrs. Elizabeth Gries, relict of John Ferrell who died June 1893, died Wednesday at home of daughter Mrs. H.J. Winbigler of 831 Center St., 85y6m27d, buried Ashland Cemetery, born Reading PA 11 June 1827, lived Ashland abt 27 years, 7 children: 6 survive George W. of Waukegan IL, Mrs. J.B. Garner of Scott City KS, Irving of Massillon, Clara, Mrs. Winbigler and Mrs. H.A. Mowrey all of Ashland, one of 10: brother G.W. Gries of Tiffin survives.

KOEHL, Emma, d/o John and Caroline Campbell, born Toulon IL 1 Jan 1858, died, 55y6d, with parents at age 3y to Wellington OH, later to Sullivan, then to Ashland, married 17 Aug 1881 John Koehl who died 17 Aug 1907 on the 26th anniversary of their marriage, son Edgar of Ashland, mother Mrs. Caroline Wallack w/o E.W. of Center St., grandson Frederick W. Koehl, (see previous article).

HAMMAN, A., of Sullivan, formerly of Nankin, buried in Nankin Cemetery last Friday.
