SHANE, Mrs., died Monday at home of daughter Mrs. Wesley Bailey, (Savannah News). NEIER, Frank, drank carbolic acid in woods several miles N of New London, found dead on Monday. FOSTER, Lester, born on Foster homestead abt 2 miles W of Shelby 20 June 1872, died Thursday, hit by train near Norris Grove and Nankin, 40y2m2d, s/o R.H. and Sarah of 1/2 mile W of Shelby, 1911 to Ashland, 2nd wife Mrs. Mabel Orewiler, married 10 June 1912, step-son Donald Orewiler, 1st wife Adele Shoup, brother George of New Washington, sisters: Mrs. Floyd Baker of old Foster homestead and Pearl Foster with parents, buried Oakland Cemetery. FOSTER, Mabel, died 1 hour after being hit by train at Norris Grove in Nankin, nee Sutter, d/o George F., born 16 Sept 1879 on Sutter farm N of the Myers Church, when young with parents to Williams Co. where mother died 2 years later, she came back to Shelby area and lived with grandmother Sutter, married Bert Orewiler s/o Henry 15 May 1900, son Donald now 12y, abt a year after marriage Bert died, married 2 months ago to Lester Foster, buried in Oakland Cemetery. DECKER, Elizabeth, died Saturday at home of daughter Mrs. John Hoskins and Grace Decker of Marion, funeral at Ashland, 64y3m3d. KNOTH, Katherine, born Gelheim Germany 5 Aug 1829, died 20 Aug 1912 at home of daughter Mrs. G.F. Lavenguth of W. Washington St., lived there 30 years with daughter, 83y15d, d/o Philip and Sophia Huhn, to US with parents in 1846, married Charles Knoth 1851, husband died 22 Apr 1873, son: O.J. of Ocean Park CA and above daughter, 4 grandchildren: Clara Lavenguth of Ashland, Clarence and Howard Knoth of Ocean Park CA and Walter Knoth of Los Angeles CA, 1 great-grandchild Alice Henrietta of Los Angeles CA, 2 sisters: Mrs. Henry Wendling of Ft. SHEETS, Mary, died Thursday at home of daughter Mrs. Amos F. Good of Ashland, 72y6m22d, children: Mrs. Good, Mrs. Ada Finkle of Huntington OH, Samuel of Orange and Mrs. Etta Sprinkle of Sullivan, buried Nankin Cemetery. BLACK, Caroline Ullman, w/o S.W., died 28 Aug, 74y, born 6 Feb 1838, married 26 Mar 1857, children: Florietta died 30 Oct 1862, James A. died 11 May 1909 and H.
