Smalley, 3 children: son Oren died young and 2 daughters, 2nd Mary Mish, 3rd Mary Lavoo who survives, CW Co C 42nd OVI, brothers L.H. of Ashland Methodist Episcopal, and Jonas of Charlotte MI, surviving children: E.F. of Loudonville, Earl of Ruggles, Mrs. A.P. Black of Washington D.C., and Mrs. Edward McConnell of Rochester Twp., Lorain Co, 2 great-grandchildren, 8 grandchildren, buried Nova Cemetery. FULMER, Jacob, died at Nova home 30 July, wife died 4 years ago in her 91st year, he lacked 5 days of 97y, 2 children survive: Augusta Black and Jacob N. both of Nova, born Columbia Co PA 4 Aug 1815; s/o John and Hannah who came to Ashland Co. in 1832, their children: Daniel of Nova, William of Hillsdale MI and Jacob; had 5 sons and 3 daughters, married 24 Jan 1839 Catherine Fast d/o George of Orange Twp. who was born PA, children: Susannah, Sarah, Lucinda, George and Enos all deceased, their mother died 7 May 1854, married 3 Aug 1854 Elizabeth Champeney of Bennington VT who at the time of their marriage was living in NY state, she died 24 Sept 1908, children: Augusta Elizabeth Black and Jacob N. of Nova. MILLER, Thomas, s/o Joseph and Maria, born Lehigh Co PA 5 July 1831, died 25 June, 80y11m20d, 18y old to Homerville OH, married there to Salina Sutter, 6 children: 2 sons and 4 daughters; 1 son and 1 daughter died in infancy, Rosetta died at age 25, wife died 16 years ago, last 3 years lived with daughter Mrs. Emma Hines of Barberton OH where he died, surviving: Emma, Mrs. Laura Miller of Sullivan, Harvey of Barberton, 13 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, buried Sullivan Cemetery. 14 AUGUST 1912 MATTHEWS, Elizabeth, w/o Chester deceased, she died at her home abt 3 miles E of Polk on Monday, almost 91y, husband died 15 years ago, 4 sons and 6 daughters, buried Redhaw Cemetery.
