BENTLE, John, killed himself Friday at room in McKean block, blind the past 5 or 6 years, brother George W. of College Ave., ELSEWHERE: buried Rowsburg Cemetery.

DEGROROSI, Salvatoria, Italian, died Friday this side of Nankin, hit by train, abt 43y, body shipped to West Salem.

CAPPELLAR, William S., born Somerset Co PA 23 Feb 1839, died 1 Nov Mansfield, early life in Cincinnati.

BROWN, Mrs. Elijah, died last Thursday at home 1/2 mile S of Nova, blind many years, 87y, buried Nova Cemetery.

KISSEL, Jacob, died at home Sunday, buried Ashland Cemetery, (Paradise Hill News).

WILEY, Mrs. F.M., funeral Wednesday at home of sister Mrs. J.W. Davis of Cleveland Ave. Ashland, buried Mt. Vernon beside husband and other family members.

STONER, Lt. William A., CW Co G 23rd OVI, died 6 Nov at home of sisters Mrs. Anna Vance and Jennie Stoner and brother Capt. P.Q. Stoner of 221 Vine St., 2 mos ago to here from Mt. Clemens MI where he went from his home in Waco TX, born old Stoner homestead abt 4 miles N of Ashland, 71y on 7th of last Sept, was married twice, 1st wife lived near New London, 2nd wife Elmira Biggs died 2 years ago at Waco TX, siblings: Rev. Stoner of near Philadelphia PA, P.Q., John, Anna Vance, Jennie, and Mrs. Hezekiah Dick of old homestead, Christian who died 24 July 1864 at Battle of Winchester.

HEITZMAN, Mrs. Catherine, died Tuesday at home of son George of 13th St., 65y, husband died abt 30 years ago, buried Ashland Cemetery, other son Jacob of New Pittsburg Wayne Co and 1 son died previously, grandson Lewis Heitzman, siblings: Mrs. W.H. Swineford of Ashland, Mrs. Michael Hetzler of E of Ashland, Levi Plank of S of Ashland.

LASH, William H., died at home on Vine Street Thursday, CW Co I 64th OVI, 65y9m, born Rowsburg, lived Ashland nearly all of life, wife Alice Murdock, children: Mrs. A.M. Witmer, Joe, Mrs. Ollie Leach and Loyal, 10 grandchildren, buried Rowsburg Cemetery.

SHEETS, Amanda A., w/o John S., died at home near Claypool IN Wednesday, 54y10m7d, d/o George B. and Sarah Worley, born Ashland Co OH 31 Dec 1836, with parents to Silver Lake IN 1865, married John S. Sheets 8 Aug 1883, lived OH 5 years then to IN, 2 sisters: Mrs. Ella Swineford of Ashland and Mrs. Mary Hill who lives with half-sister Mrs. E.I. Brown of Clare MI and half-brother G.A. Brush of Silver Lake IN, buried Lakeview Cemetery in Silver Lake IN.

ILGER, George, died Monday or Tuesday at Wadsworth home, sister Mrs. Clara Wiley and son William of Ashland, abt 63y, born Ashland, to Wadsworth when 18 years old, wife survives, son Sepharis of Toledo, daughter Mrs. Susie Sonnanstine of Wadsworth, brother Charles W. Ilger of Mt. Vernon, probably will be buried in Ashland.

KALTENTHALER, _____, died Thursday at home of parents, d/o Philip of Eastern Ave., born Mansfield, sister Mrs. J.E. Straub, buried Shelby Catholic Cemetery.

ILGER, George, formerly of Ashland, died in Wadsworth Thursday, 60y9m23d, born 21 Jan 1851, married 21 Oct 1872 Julia Susan Dickinson, children: Cloyd W. died 30 Sept 1874 1y, Susan w/o Charles Sunnanstine of Wadsworth, son: Sepharas S., 2 grandchildren, brother Charles W. of Mt. Vernon, sister Mrs. Clara Wiley of Ashland, (see previous article).

CULBERTSON, Mrs. Rosanna, 81y3m21d, w/o G.W., died Friday at home of daughter Mrs. Samuel Umbaugh of 5 miles N of Ashland, buried Nankin Cemetery.

KENNEY, Peter, of Hanover Twp., died at home Thursday, abt 81y, born 1830, buried McFall's Church Cemetery.

SMITH, Aaron, CW, died at home abt 3 1/2 miles N of Perrysville, found dead Sunday, 72y4m11d, funeral Wednesday, wife, children: Nettie, Kate and Mrs. Thomas Byers, 2 grandchildren, 4 sisters and 1 brother.

BOWERIZE, Eliza Jane, died 17 Nov at home of Mr. and Mrs. Zahnkey, 83y11m7d, funeral 19th at Congregational Church in Sullivan, buried Hopewell Cemetery, born 10 Dec 1827.

MELICK, Mike, hung himself Sunday at jail, important witness in Jeromesville murder case, native of Slavonia, baptismal name: Nicola Lopio, 29y, wife and children in Slavonia, buried Ashland Cemetery.

HUPP, Daniel, of Nankin, CW, died Wednesday, 70y11m7d, wife, no children, from Monroe Co, buried Nankin Cemetery.

TROUP, Charity L., d/o B.F., died Friday at home of sister Mrs. Myer Austen of Phillip's Ave., 17y8m9d, born Greenwich OH 15 Mar 1894, mother and infant brother died previously, survived by father, 7 sisters and 5 brothers, buried Ashland Cemetery.

LEACH, William G., of Hanover Twp., 50y6m13d, died Thursday at home, wife, son and 3 stepchildren, funeral at 16 Church near Mohican.
