MARTIN, Clarence, formerly of Ashland, died Thursday at hospital in Detroit MI, s/o William deceased, 26y2m24d, unmarried, nephew of Frank Martin and Mrs. Orlo Kosht of Cleveland, buried Ashland Cemetery. SHELDON, Col. L.D., CW Vet, died Sunday at Soldier's Home in Sandusky City, lived there abt 4 years, 76y, married twice, both wives died previously, 2nd wife died abt 8 years ago in Ashland, 5 children survive: 1 son by 1st wife lives in West, 3 sons and 1 daughter by 2nd wife: William and Charles of Ashland, Cora is married and in Akron, buried Ashland Cemetery. WOODHULL, Martha, aged lady of N of Perrysville, died at home of son Luther Ernest on Tuesday. LANDIS, Mary Anna, oldest person in Shelby, died Wednesday at home of son John M. of Shelby, 100 years old on 16 Dec 1911, nee Miller, born Lancaster Co PA 16 Dec 1811. SPRINGER, Amanda Luella Lutz, born Jeromesville 31 Aug 1857, died 13 Oct, 54y11m12d, married W.K. Springer 1876, 8 children: 2 died in infancy, 6 survive. DUNLAP, Clarence, oldest s/o Will, died on a street in a city in MT, word received Monday in Sullivan, body expected Tuesday. ENZOR, John, died Friday at home 3 1/2 miles N of Adario, 78y, wife died 2 years ago, large family of children. GONGWER, John Joseph, died the other day at home of sister Mrs. Aaron Groff N of Pavonia, funeral at Mifflin Lutheran Church, brother Philip died 6 years ago, sister Margaret Lightner died 5 years ago, sister Caroline Stoufer 1 week ago, surviving: brother C.B. and sisters Mrs. Hannah Van Dyke, Mrs. M. Groff and Mrs. Ellen Ohl. SABAAL, Martin, killed by fellow Italian workers at Jeromesville, wife and 6 children in Italy, found beaten Tuesday.
