ROWLEY, S.R., died Wednesday in VanWert; abt 90y; born Saratoga Co NY 25 Jan 1820; married abt 1848 Helen Weston who died in East Jordon MI 1895, sister of Edward Preston Weston; 1855 to MI; 1868 to VanWert; buried E. Jordon MI; children: William of Boyer MI, Mrs. Fannie Swineford of VanWert; Charley Rowley of Bucyrus; 6 grandchildren, one is Mrs. Charles L. Bowman of Banning Ave., Ashland OH, 4 great-grandchildren.

METZGER, Samuel, died at farm 2 1/2 miles N of Jeromesville, buried Jeromesville Cemetery Friday, 24y, mother Mrs. Lydia Countryman Metzger w/o David who died several months ago, wife and 2 small children survive ages 3y and 1y.

KANTZER, John, died at McZena home Wednesday, 78y, wife and several children survive, sister Mrs. John Coble of Ashland, buried St. Johns Cemetery.

GILL, Benjamin, died at Medina home Tuesday.

VANDEVANTER, John, died at Orange St. home Tuesday, 60y11m7d, wife survives, daughter Mrs. J.F. Welty, buried McConnellstown PA.

CLARK, Charles, died at Lakeside Hospital in Cleveland Sunday, 43y, son Albert of Cleveland, siblings: Mrs. Dr. C.D. Sackett of Center St. Ashland, Mrs. Rosa Williams, Mrs. Bessie Gough and William all of Cleveland, buried Riverside Cemetery in Cleveland.

McKINLEY, Mrs. Isaac, died at West St. home in Hayesville 30 May, husband, 1 daughter and 2 sons survive.

McKINLEY, Marry Caroline Royer, born Flat Rock, Seneca Co OH 21 Nov 1848, died 30 May, 61y6m9d, married 20 Feb 1873 at Winchester WI, children: Charles, Howard, and Mrs. T.L. Crone, buried Hayesville Cemetery.

ZIMMERMAN, Glenna Irene, 7m, d/o Guy W. of Pavonia, died Saturday, buried Ashland Cemetery.

FITZGERALD, Miss Mary, of Custaloga, died Friday, 55y.

PIXLEY, Eliza Beck, w/o George, born Sullivan Twp. 27 Mar 1855, died Nova home 31 May, 55y2m4d, married 8 June 1881, children: Edwin, Ina and Glenn, 2 sisters, buried Fulmer Vault.

ARNDT, John, died at East St. home in Hayesville Tuesday.

ARNDT, John, born Mt. Joy PA 7 Feb 1833, died 7 June, 77y4m, CW, lived 50 years at Hayesville, buried Hayesville Cemetery, wife and 6 daughters survive.

McDANIEL, Bessie, w/o L.G. s/o William S. of Claremont Ave., Ashland, died at Akron, funeral Tuesday, buried Ashland Cemetery.

BOWMAN, Joshua, died at Nankin area home Sunday, abt 87y, born on farm where he died, wife and sons Emery and Tully survive, buried Nankin Cemetery.

CLARK, Prof. R.P., of Kent, died Thursday, buried Williamsfield OH Cemetery.

KISER, James, of Mohican Twp., lived on Kyle farm S of Jeromesville, died Saturday, wife and 4 children, father died a few months ago, brother lives in Jeromesville.

BOWMAN, Joshua, of Orange Twp., died 12 June; buried Orange Cemetery; s/o John N. and Katherine Altman Bowman, to Orange Twp. from Mahoning Co abt 1820, had 11 children: 6 sons and 5 daughters, 3 sons died in infancy; Joshua Custus Bowman was born in log house built by his father s/o R.R. in Orange Twp. 13 Nov 1823, died 12 June; lived 6 months in IN, helped a brother-in-law move; of 11 siblings, one survives: youngest J. Hiram, a CW vet who lives in Salem, Columbiana Co.; married 17 Apr 1849 Agnes McFadden, children:  Emery and Tully, 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 1 grandchild died previously.

RECK, Mrs. Elizabeth, w/o William of 3rd St., died Tuesday, born Roudabach Germany 5 Feb 1830, husband survives, children: Mrs. B.F. Martin and Mrs. M.L. Wiest of Ashland, Mrs. R.D. Berry of Findlay; sisters: Mrs. Henry Hildebrand of Polk and Mrs. Henry Dettenmeyer of Philadelphia PA.
