HINES, Mrs. Dolly, of Polk, died at home on Thursday, 85y, born Germany, w/o Charles deceased, buried Hazzard's Cemetery near West Salem.

LAIRD, Andrew J., of Shelby, died at home Wednesday, 65y, CW Co A OVI, has relatives in Ashland.

DUDLEY, Col. B.D.L., born Sullivan OH 2 May 1843, died Hot Springs SD 27 Jan 1909, funeral at Cainstota SD, comes from sturdy NE ancestors, 1 of a large family, CW 87 OH Infantry, later 178th, married 29 Oct 1867 Philura B. Johnson, to Cainstota SD 1884, son George, 1907 to Hot Springs SD.

BENINGHOFF, John R., of Ashland, CW, died Friday, 69y, son William, daughter Mrs. I.W. Copeland, buried Ashland Cemetery, born Vermillion Twp. 2 May 1840, when young with parents to Mifflin Twp., later Montgomery Twp. to Ashland 1880, wife died 17 years ago, children: Isaac T. of Cleveland, Mrs. Nettie Greenwald of Canton, John W., Mrs. Arthur Mason, Mrs. I. W. Copeland and William of Ashland, daughter Libbie deceased, siblings: Peter of Columbus, Mrs. Philip Croninger of Mifflin, David S., Sheriff J. Henjamin and Lottie of Ashland.

AUSTEN, Mrs. Kathern, died 18 Feb, 66y, son Isaac of Lakefork, buried Lakefork Cemetery.

CRITES, Silas, died 1 Mar, 58y, lived on Joel Rickey farm 2 1/2 miles N of Lakefork, buried Fairview Cemetery (elsewhere) school teacher in Rowsburg area, to KS and was clerk of County Courts in Osborn Co. two terms.

WALKER, John, born Aberdeenshire Scotland 10 July 1849, died Lakeside Hospital in Cleveland 4 Mar, 59y7m24d, with parents, 2 sisters and 4 brothers to US 1854, settled Ruggles on farm now owned by William Innes, family: Mrs. Anna Newman of Ruggles, George and William deceased, Robert of Ruggles, John, Mrs. Jennie Crowell of Savannah, Alex and Jeanette of New London, and Mrs. Isabel Chorpening of Ruggles, married 17 Oct 1870 Mary B. Peck who died 11 Apr 1889, adopted daughter Elsie May Walker, 4 sisters and 2 brothers survive, buried Ruggles Cemetery.

Plum St., Springfield OH, died at hospital in Springfield OH of "penthigus" which affects skin, eats it away, causing death, contagious, buried Jeromesville OH, (elsewhere) Beryl Isabel Botdorf, died 6 Mar of skin and blood affection, 17y, born Rowsburg 7 Mar 1892, youngest of 2 daughters of Joseph D. and Mary S., father died 1903, sister Eva, also brother not named.

PALMER, Eva Motter, died 7 Mar in Ashland, 30y4m7d, born 31 Oct 1878 Nova OH, married 5 July 1899 James Palmer of Ashland, mother and step-father survive, 2 small children and husband also survive, buried Ashland Cemetery.
