GOARD, Mrs. Susan, niece Isabell Wertman of Sandusky St., buried Ashland Cemetery, died Saturday at home of son Calvin McGuire of 109 E. 4th St., 69y11m, born E of Ashland, 1859 married Jackson McGuire who died 1876, 3 Oct 1878 married John Goard, 8 children:  5 survive Weldon McGuire of Massillon, Calvin and Minnie McGuire and John Goard Jr. all of Mansfield, Roy Goard of Norwalk; Cornelius McGuire, Lorin McGuire and Alva Goard are deceased.

COOK, Frank, of Mansfield, died after hit by train near Mansfield, 28y, parents and 3 sisters survive.

LUCAS, Samuel, abt 70y, died at Ullman Hotel in Loudonville Saturday.

FOX, Mrs. Peter, died 10 Oct, of W. Main St. in Nova, buried Nova Cemetery, abt 66 years.

MISH, Simon, died 9 Oct at Jeromesville, 61y 4m 22d, married 19 Dec 1871 Olive Ann Ewing, children: 3 sons and 1 daughter of whom 1 son Owin, the oldest died 2 Feb 1898 at Elyria, born near Rowsburg 17 May 1847, surviving children: Pearl Preston and Jay O'Lossie, Eva A. w/o Bernard Nolan, grandchildren Helen and Dorothy Nolan, 1 brother and 1 sister survive.

MEISTER, Mrs. Mary, formerly of Ashland, died at Crestline home 9 Oct, 69y8m18d, son E.T. of Crestline, d/o Kendall and Anne Jackson, born Carrollton 21 Jan 1889 (39?), last of Jackson family, 3 died within 1 year: Mrs. Charles H. Miller 8 Jan 1908, and Marshal Jackson of Chicago 8 Feb 1908, married Philip D. Meister in Carrollton 1860, he died in Crestline 1885, 1888 to Chicago with son, 1907 back to OH.

FOX, Catharine Elizabeth, d/o Andrew and Catherine Rohleder, born Herse Germany 10 April 1842, at age 3 years with parents to NY, then to PA, then to Long Island, then to near Hayesville, Ashland Co OH in the Spring of 1852, died 19 Oct, 66y6m, married 27 Mar 1867 Peter Fox, children: 3 sons and 7 daughters, 1 son and 1 daughter died previously, came to Nova 1875, buried Nova Cemetery.

GARDNER, child, infant s/o D.W. of New Pittsburg, buried Rowsburg Wednesday.

SHISSLER, Mrs. Frank, died at home in Omaha NE on Sunday, formerly of Ashland, 42y, sisters-in-law Mrs. J.W. Moore, Mrs. J.W. Sherick, Mrs. Ed Kauffman all of Ashland.

DIESEM, H. S., of Lamour ND, died, sister Mrs. Louisa Hossler whose funeral was Monday, brothers I.L. of Garden City KS and C.S. of Lamour ND.

HOSSLER, Mrs. Louisa, funeral held Monday S of Ashland on Hayesville Rd., brother I.L Diesem of Garden City KS, C.S. Diesem of Lamour ND and H.S. of Lamour ND.

HISSEM, Jesse R., of Loudonville, died Wednesday.

BRYTE, Thomas, died Thursday at the Emmons' home on Troy Rd of TB, 40y1m21d, wife survives, 2 children died previously, buried Ashland Cemetery.

HOUSEHOLDER, B.H., died Friday at his home on the Henry Riley farm abt 2 miles E of Ashland on Wooster Rd., "Buzzy", about 32y, wife and 1 year old child survive, mother Mrs. Michael Householder of the Iceman home near Jeromesville, siblings: Mrs. Daniel Iceman, Mrs. John Garn, Mrs. Walter Fry, Minnie and Jay all of Jeromesville area, and Mrs. Elwood McKonkey of near Butler.

TRAYER, Edward, 69y, died after being hit by train Tuesday near Galion, wife died previous, 2 children, 1 sister and 1 brother survive.

HOUSEHOLDER, "Bussy" B., born Rowsburg 5 Jan 1878, died 30 Oct, 30y9m25d, wife, 1 daughter, aged mother, 5 sisters and 1 brother survive, father, 4 brothers and 1 sister died previous, 1 brother having been killed during late war, buried Jeromesville Cemetery.

SHARICK, Samuel, died at Nankin Monday, wife died about 20 years ago, sons: Justus of IN and James of E. Cleveland, children: Mrs. W.A. Mason, John and Perry, nephew: W.A. of Ashland.

GOLDEN, John, formerly of Ashland, died in Cleveland Thursday, buried Ashland Cemetery Sunday, 65y, wife and daughter Sadie of Vine St.

DARLING, Frank, 6y, s/o G.L. of 3 miles SW of Perrysville, buried in cemetery near Perrysville.

KAUFFMAN, Monroe, died at 3rd St. home Thursday, abt 72y, wife died previously, no children survive, sister Mrs. Reynolds of Ashland.
