PALMER, B.H., died at 29 Cottage St. home on Thursday, 78y, born Westmoreland Co. PA 3 Mar 1830, when 4 yrs old to West Canon, Wayne Co OH, wife died 3 yrs ago, 7 children of whom 5 survive J.C., Mrs. C.R. Winbigler, Lucy all of Ashland, W.T. of Celina OH, and Mrs. J. C. Sidler of Blachleyville, funeral Saturday, buried Ashland Cemetery.

McDANEL, Louisa, w/o John who died abt 9 yrs ago, died at home of sister Mrs. Enoch Wertman 18 Aug, 5y69m19d, born 29 Jan 1851 Orange Twp, 7th d/o John and Cynthia Tracey, 4 sisters and 1 brother survive above sister, Mrs. James Brindle and William Tracey of Ashland, Nancy and Jane of Wellington OH, 4 sisters and 1 brother died previous, married 1 Jan 1880.

LINDENBERG, William, died Wednesday at Mansfield jail.

PRUNER, John Franklin, 26y9m26d, died Monday at home of Edward E. Bennett of W. Washington St., wife and daughter Helen survive, born near Mt. Vernon OH, s/o Phalen and Ellen, body to Mt. Vernon.

BENTLE, George Russell, died Sunday, 4m, father State Commissioner Bentler of Bank St.

ZIMMERMAN, Mrs. Matilda, died Monday at home of son William H. of Troy Rd. where she had lived for 8 yrs, born 7 Apr 1844 Dalton, Wayne Co., with parents to Lattasburg, married at age 17y to Martin who died in CW when she was 21y, children William and Ada of Ovigum MN, sister Anna Worrell of West Salem, 1882 to Ashland, buried Ashland Cemetery.

GILLETY, Fred H., vet of Spanish-American War Co C 8th OVI, died at E 4th St. home Wednesday, 34y, born Ashland 8 Dec 1873, married April 1899 Zora Drumhiller, no children, siblings Bane of Sterling, Mrs. Belle Fearer of Cottage St., buried Ashland Cemetery.

WHARTON, James, died at Mansfield home Wednesday, former Ashland Co. Commissioner, abt 90y, wife, 5 sons and 1 daughter survive, lived in Mansfield 12 yrs, buried Olivesburg.

BUTLER, child, s/o John of Bellville, 2 lbs. and 9" long, born a few days ago, died 8d old.

BARTLETT, Mr., died at home of daughter Mrs. John Robinson, funeral last Sunday at Huntington.

HAWKS, Rev. John, died at OK home recently, formerly of W. Vermillion, sisters Mrs. Henry Jackman and Belle Hawks, abt 60y.

JONES, Senator Lake F., 63y, died at home of daughter in Wooster Monday, born Fredericksburg 11 Aug 1844 s/o David K., grandson of Benjamin Jones.

ROBINSON, Mrs. Mary, of Bolivar OH, born CT 6 June 1820, with parents to Wayne Co. when young, married Sept 1841 John, 3 sons and 3 daughters, one Mrs. Alma Peffer of Ashland Co. near Albion, 20 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.

WHARTON, James, died last Wednesday at home in Mansfield, born Cumberland Co. PA, to OH with mother when 6 yrs old, married Nancy Williams d/o Ebenezer, six children John A., J. R., W. C., and U. G. of Ashland, Ebenzer E. of Paradise Hill, wife died 15 yrs ago, 12 yrs ago married Mary Cary who survives, niece Mrs. Stella Smith of Savannah, at one time owned 1400 acres of land, buried Olivesburg, (see previous article).

LESTER, Harry M., 26y, of Alliance, hit by train at Mansfield Tuesday and died.

BAKER, William L., of Lawrence, hit by train at Mansfield Tuesday and died.

HAY, Mrs. Sarah, of SW of Loudonville, died Thursday, abt 78y, buried Sand Hill Church Cemetery Friday.

POAG, W. I., died at home of daughter Mrs. J.F. McDonald of Cleveland, daughter Mrs. L.W. Bailey of Ashland, services in Cleveland Tuesday, body to arrive in Ashland.

McDONALD, Uriah, born 10 June 1822, died at Sullivan home 6 Sept, 85y2m26d, married 1844 Louisa Rowley, 6 daughters of whom 3 died previous, 1 son who died when 1 yr old, wife died previous, married 11 Nov 1880 Mrs. Lottie Olds, (Sullivan News).

JACOBS, Harriet, relict of Abraham, died at home of daughter Mrs. J.A. McCauley of 824 N. Union St., Fostoria, 72y11m21d, d/o Christian and Barbara Reiff, born near Olivesburg in Richland Co., married 19 Nov 1857, 1903 from Longley, Seneca Co. to Fostoria, husband died 4 weeks after moving to Fostoria, son D.E. of Summit St., Fostoria, siblings J.W. Reiff of Wichita KS, John of San Jose CA, Henry and Christian of Olivesburg, Mrs. A.E. Baker of Americus MO, Mrs. A. Fox of Richland Co., and Mrs. R. Byers of Harrisburg PA, 5 grandchildren.

BRINDLE, James C., died Friday at 48 E. 3rd St. home, 59y6m, wife and son Tracey S., sister Mrs. John Bell of Cleveland, buried Ashland Cemetery.

GILLETLY, Fred H., funeral Friday, buried Ashland Cemetery, (see previous article).

FAST, Ira, "in Oberlin News, last week", s/o Jackson, of 200 E. Lorain St., died in Quebec bridge disaster last week, body not yet found, lived Oberlin 6 mos, daughter Ruby of Oberlin, born Troy twp., 14 yrs ago to S. Chicago IL.
