CARTER, William Henry, died Saturday at Center St. home, 58y8m22d, born 3 Dec 1847 Carter farm (now Cahn) in Montgomery Twp., wife died abt 2 1/2 yrs ago, children Fred, Louise and Dorothy, siblings Hiland of Iola KS, Aden of Genesee IL, Mrs. Martha Starr of Ashland, Mrs. Carolin Caffin of New Castle IN, Venela of Chicago, Mrs. Augusta Norris of Chicago, and Mrs. Mary Anderson of Geneseo IL, one sister Mrs. Beveridge died previous, burial in Ashland Cemetery, always lived in Ashland Co. except 10 yrs in KS and Chicago.

WIDGEON, William C. "Billie", died at room on Church St. Friday, 49y23d, born 1 Aug 1857, a painter, brother Edward of Sandusky St., buried Ashland Cemetery.

BOTDORF, Mrs. J. H., d/o Wesley Brown, while visiting at Shreve with Alvin Richey fell down cellar steps and broke neck Tuesday and died.

HAWK, Isabel, w/o Theodore, died at home on E. Liberty St., 56y11m2d, buried Ashland Cemetery.

HELMAN, Mitchell, died at home of F. R. Park on 21 August, brother Ernest of Orange, born 21 Mar 1879, Forest and M. of Albion, saw mill accident.

DEMING, Richard, of Geneseo IL, died there Sunday, 83y, uncle of Mrs. Charles Freer of Ashland, buried in Ashland Cemetery.

FABER, George, killed by train at Rittman OH, lived with brother Dr. William in Rittman, brother of Fred of Ashland.

GRAVEN, Estella, d/o Melvin of near Lakeville, buried Wednesday.

SHELLY, Christian, brother Peter of E of Ashland on Cleveland Rd., cousin of Mrs. Rev. J. S. Felger, Mrs. Emma Swartz and related to Palmer family, found dead in field on farm in Plain Twp., Wayne Co. on Wednesday, 69y, had wife, 4 sons and 4 brothers.

BACKUS, John O., of Ashland, committed suicide at Mattoon IL, sister Mrs. Harry L. Walters of W. Main St., buried Ashland Cemetery.

HINKLE, Moses Jr., died Sunday, 21y14d, s/o Moses of Cleveland Ave., born 15 Aug 1885, brother of Daniel, Frank, Sherman, Nettie and Daisy. Another brother died 1 yr ago 11th of last month, buried Dickey Cemetery.

SEALER, Mrs., died, abt 60y, at home NE of Jeromesville, husband, children and grandchildren survive.

COX, child, 9m, d/o Walter of Adario, died on Wednesday.

NEWMAN, Mrs. Simon, died 28 Aug, buried at Lakeford Cemetery, 47y, husband and 5 children: 4 sons and 1 daughter survive.

ROHN, William A., died at home 3 miles N of town on Tuesday, 65y, wife and children Charles M., Edgar J., Mary E., and Mrs. Ina, a brother died in infancy, born 22 Aug 1841 on farm where he died, buried Ashland Cemetery.

PAXTON, M. J., formerly of Savannah, died at his home in Garnett KS on Tuesday, oldest brother of Andrew and James of Savannah, left Savannah abt 1880.

MERCER, Oscar H. "Todd", died at home of parents (Levi) on W. Washington St. on Sunday, abt 27y, unmarried, brother Milton died 1y10d ago at home in Galion and buried in Ashland Cemetery, brother of Mrs. J. B. Beninghof and Mrs. Pearl Maxheimer of Ashland.

STUTZ, George, 2y, s/o Alfred of Fredericksburg, died Tuesday, burned.

ENDSLOW, William, of Endslow Mill Company, died Columbus on Wednesday at 1383 E. Main St., 70y, wife and children Edmund B and Homer H., brother T. B. of New Washington OH and Samuel of Logansport IN, formerly lived Perrysville OH.

MAYER, Mrs. C. H., died at Marion, brother John Ferguson of Ashland.

SNADER, Mrs. Elizabeth, died at home on Cleveland Rd on Friday, born PA, abt 85y, husband George died abt 14 yrs ago, surviving children Lemon, Frank, Martin, Eli, David and Mrs. Sarah Morr, brother Mr. Baker of near Wooster.

MILLER, Elton L., died Saturday at Wadsworth Mill accident, wife and daughter survive.

BARRICK, Mrs. J. B., died in Athens GA, funeral Thursday at Ashland.

BRYTE, Thomas, 13m, s/o Thomas of 1 mile NW of Ashland, died Thursday, another child died less than 2 yrs ago.

BRYTE, Ralph Adaron, died Thursday, buried in Ashland Cemetery.

KRAUSE, Rev. G. T., 27y, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Cardington, hit by train there on Thursday and died.
