HERSCHLER, Christian, 76y, died Friday at his home 3 miles SE of Ashland on Perrysville Rd., born Germany, married twice, survived by wife and 6 children, brother of John of Center St., buried cemetery near old stone church in area of the Herschler home. 19 JULY 1905 MEACH, John, (see previous article abt death) interview before his death..."until my grandfather's time went by Walbridge not Meach, then New Englanders of English parentage and several brothers, one of whom was my grandfather - all in Revolutionary War - commander voted the Walbridge was "one of secret significance among the officers of the Revolutionary War and any private who called himself that would be shot" name changed to Meach." CLINKER, E. A., 75y, hung himself in cherry tree near his home abt 1 mile from Lucas. KOLP, Mrs. J. T., 64y, died at her home on W. Walnut Thursday, born PA 29 Sep 1841, survived by husband and children: Mrs. Jacob Webster of Lattasburg, Victor of Meyersville, Summitt Co. OH, Isaac, Samual, Frederick, Titus, Leter, Willard and Mrs. Jesse Dupler all of Ashland, 1 brother and 5 sisters, buried Ashland Cemetery. 26 JULY 1905 LONG, Mary, died Tuesday at home of son-in-law, Hershel Spencer of 2 miles South of Sullivan and then 1 mile West, 82y, married 1st David Heifner who died abt 52 yrs ago, married 2nd Simeon Long also deceased, 5 children to each marriage, 2 sons in CW of whom one died in Libby prison and other now in MI, cousin of Jacob Sheets of Claremont Ave. (elsewhere in paper) daughters: Mrs. R. A. Park and Mrs. Fannie Bowman, Mary of Sullivan. MARKLEY, Mrs. Josiah, died Tuesday, cousin of Orlando Markley of 3rd St. received word Wednesday from Orrville, her husband died abt 1y ago. CRAMER, John, 53y, died Tuesday, wife and 2 sons survive, funeral Mansfield. AU, Ruth, d/o Dale, died Friday, fell over boiler of hot water, severely burned and died a few hours later. WOLF, child of Richard, of near Fredericktown, formerly of South of Loudonville, bit by snake and died 2 days later. McCONNELL, Abner, died Monday at Vine St. home, 55y17d, born 7 July 1850 Ashland Co., married Margaret Jones 20 Jan 1871, father of Mrs. Bessie Yeagley, Mrs. Keets and a son living near West Salem, one child died in infancy, also, wife, 3 brothers and 2 sisters survive, buried Ashland Cemetery. KAMERER, Andrew, s/o Jacob of near Loudonville, killed aboard gunboat Bennington at San Diego CA Friday in a boiler explosion, 26y, to be buried in Loudonville. BRUBAKER, Helen, 23y, d/o B. F. who received word Tuesday from Albuquerque NM that she had died, there with mother for health, sister of Mrs. Edgar McDowell and Earl Brubaker. STEIN, Wesley, widower, 52y, died Wednesday abt 2 miles South of Polk, wife died 1 yr ago last October, son-in-law of Simon Eichelberger of Cleveland Ave., no children, an uncle out West. 2 AUGUST 1905 TAYLOR, Thomas A., born Loudonville 6 Mar 1852, died Toledo OH where he had gone in the 1880's, Nov 1881 married Florence Fuller d/o Gen. John W. Fuller. BURNS, twin, child of S. E. Burns, born Tuesday died last Thursday. RICHARDS, Alvin A., of Orange Twp., died Friday. BRINKER, Daniel, of Milton Twp.; son-in-law, Joseph Pifer, died Monday. BIDDINGER, infant, s/o Elza, buried Monday at Nova Cemetery. 9 AUGUST 1905 STIMENS, Corman, 6y, died, buried by playmates Raymond Woodard (3y) and Howard Straub (4y) near foot of E. 1st St., Mansfield, died 10 minutes after being uncovered. JOHNSTON, William, born 1 Sep 1855 Aberdeenshire Scotland, died 29 Jul 1905, to US 1882, married 1885 Ellen Hill formerly of Aberdeenshire, buried Savannah, wife has sister in US who is her only relative here. WEAVER, Bert, 16y, died Butler OH, kicked by horse, 2nd s/o W. E. to die from violence within 6 months, son Charles aged 19y killed by run away last spring. HUMRICKHOUSER, Hazel, abt 4y, d/o Curtis, died Monday, buried Rowsburg Cemetery, survived by parents, 2 sisters and 3 brothers. KLOPFSTEIN, Milton, brother of Jess of Ashland Co., died in Bucyrus, s/o John and Mary, born Sulphur Springs 22 yrs ago the 9th of July, parents to Bucyrus 15 yrs ago, brother of Harry of Kingsman and Mrs. C.
