FAIR Eliza J., born Sullivan 16 Jan 1852, died 10 May near New Pittsburg, married Andrew Fair 16 Nov 1879, she was one of 10 children of which 5 boys and 2 girls survive, she raised Andrew's children by a former wife. BURKETT William, of near Olivesburg, died Tuesday, 77y, brother of Mrs. Houston of Clearcreek Twp., Wayne Co. OH (? Sugar Creek ?) 24 MAY 1905 HAMMOND Maria, of Knox Co., drown in cistern, d/o James Hammond, a carpenter, and Mrs. Ira Linton 22y, (suit for divorce, but same day to be heard he died, she married Charles Linton abt 1 month ago). HUNTER T. W., County Commissioner, buried Ashland Cemetery, funeral Presbyterian Church at Savannah Thursday. KISSEL Walter Lloyd, died Tuesday at the home of his father, Jacob of Paradise Hill, buried Loudonville Catholic Cemetery. EMMINGER Barbara, of 6th St., died 20 May, 65y5m24d, born Paradise Hill 1840, 3 sons survive, buried in Ashland Cemetery. 31 MAY 1905 HARMON Amos, died at his home on E. 4th St. Monday, born 24 May 1854, 5ly4d, father of George, Clayton, Charles, Anna and John, brother of Mrs. Eli Hiner of Ashland, Mrs. John Rutt of Lattasburg and Jacob Harmon of Lattasburg, buried Maple Grove Church Cemetery. BOWEN James, died near Perrysville 18 May, 64y, born Green Twp. 11 Mar 1841, married 1871 Martha Donaldson, 6 children, buried Perrysville. SHOPBELL John, died Monday at home of daughter, Mrs. J. O. BURGETT William, born 1829 MI, s/o Edwin and Susan Beach Burgett, died at home in Olivesburg, when 2y old became member of William Houston's family and lived there until 2ly, married 1856 Maria Starrett who died, married 2nd Addie Houston and they raised Mrs. Roy Hursh from infancy, buried Olivesburg. WEYGANDT, Mrs. David, died at home of relatives in Creston on Tuesday, step-grandmother of William Weygandt formerly of OH and Moore formerly of Ashland now Akron, other relatives of Ashland, buried Meng's Cemetery. 7 JUNE 1905 WELCH Joseph, died at his home in Jackson Twp. 8 miles out on the Cleveland Rd. 2 Jun, 63y3m8d, born Garrett Co. MD 24 Feb 1824, came to OH abt 1863, married Lucy J. Riddle 27 Jan 1876, father of 3 daughters and 1 son, the eldest daughter died when 22mos old, 5 brothers and 2 sister in MD, buried Ashland Cemetery. KASTOVITZ Johann, old man living in Mansfield, crawled under train and killed. ARNDT Ray Bailey, died at his home 2 miles South of Sullivan 24 May, 6y8m4d, born Sullivan 20 Sep 1898, Mrs. Sabre Kosht is an aunt. MORGAN John, 22y, s/o Obadiah of West Lebanon, shot himself. POWER George, died at his home on E. Main St. in Nova 26 May, born Redhaw 29 Aug 1837, 68y8m, married Mary A. Maxwell of Congress 24 Nov 1860, father of Mrs. D. Y. Roberson and Mrs. Ada Frey, 2 grandsons, buried family lot in Nova Cemetery. 14 JUNE 1905 BAUM, Mrs. Phianna, died 30 May, 66y2m22d, born Lancaster Co. PA 8 Mar 1839, to OH with parents when abt l5 yrs old, married John Baum 1864, mother of Mrs. Emma Fast of New London, Mrs. Bowerize of Greenwich, Ezra of Ashland, Mrs. Fogelsonger and Mrs. Myers of PA, Mrs. Kyle of Akron and Mrs. Young of Ashland. RUMBAUGH Jacob, died at his home on Cottage St. 11 June, born Wayne Co. OH 22 Oct 1835, wife, 2 daughters and 1 son, buried Ashland Cemetery. SHOPBELL Mrs. Samuel, died 8 June, nee Sophia Cassell, born Dauphin Co. PA 1834, to OH when an infant, married 19 Aug 1852 Samuel Shopbell, survived by 6 children and husband, 1 child died previously. BUZZARD Benjamin, died at the home of Alfred Gast of Jackson Twp. Saturday, 89y, born PA 8 May 1816, to Wayne Co. OH 1840, married 1845 Mary Mellmyer, to Ashland Co. 1846, he was a blacksmith, wife died 3 July 1891, buried Lattasburg.
