THOMAS, John, died Sunday at his home a few miles SW of Ashland, 83y lacking 14d, born in Wayne Co. 1822, lived Ashland Co. 41y, his wife died 9 yrs ago, 11 children of which 5 survive: Allen of Ashland, Benton of S of town, Leander of E of town, William and Celia at home, brother of David of Wooster, he was a carpenter and farmer, buried Ashland Cemetery.

IMHOFF, Jacob, funeral held Barton Chapel west of town Sunday, (another page) struck with paralysia in Ashland Tues, 60y (else where in paper) 69y, very ill, spent entire life in Milton Twp., burial Imhoff Cemetery on farm where born and reared, 2 daughters died before, (also elsewhere in paper) 68y, died at home of daughter in Ashland just East of Central Hotel on 3rd St., survived by wife and 6 children: Alice, Bessie and Jennie of Ashland, William of Shelby, Harvey and Westley of West of town, siblings: Mrs. Henry Barr and Mrs. Lewis Gongwer of Paradise Hill, and Peter Imhoff of WA.

FAST, Mrs. Eliza, died at her home 2 miles North of Nova Sunday, 73y, word received Monday, husband and children: Charles of Ashland, Orla and Ella of near Nova, (elsewhere in paper) buried Sullivan Cemetery.

BELL, Rezin W., steward of the Institution of the blind, died there Saturday (Columbus?), buried Bellville where parents and brothers are buried.

LUCE, Mrs. George, died at her home on Orange St. Tuesday, husband, sisters: Mrs. Altha Porter of West Salem, Mrs. Mary Kelsey of Nova and nephew: L. B. Crittenden of Shelby survive, born Nova on old homestead, had lived in Ashland 20y, (elsewhere) Jennie Luce died last Monday, 4 sisters of Mellon Bruce family ones above listed and deceased Mrs. Henry Crittenden.

BUCHANEN, George, died, his sister-in-law Mrs. M. V. Kagey of Ashland and her daughter Mrs. John Campbell of Hayesville attended funeral in Baxtus IA.

HILEMAN, Harve, of Wayne Co, died at his home near Lattisburg, 64y, cousin of G. F. Kollar of E. Main, Ashland, oldest of 13 children, wife and 2 children, born Chester Twp.

BEYMER, Arthur, died Tuesday, 79y, at his home on Main St. in the Glass block, born 17 May 1826 Clearcreek Twp., wife died 1887, 5 children: John, George, and Libbie Lowbaugh of the area, Martin of St. Paris and Charles of Omaha NE, 3 brothers and 2 sisters in IN and IA, buried Ashland Cemetery.

THOMAS, John, his brother-in-law Valentine Piper was buried last Thanksgiving day. (see previous articles on both)

MYERS, Katherine Laura Elizabeth, 25y, died Sunday in Florence, Italy of typhoid fever, on trip with mother and 2 sisters Mayme and Helen, 2nd d/o F. M., born Ashland 24 June 1880, brothers: Jay and John. (picture and more found in 29 Mar 1905 TG)

RISSER, Catherine, widow of John, formerly of Vermillion Twp., died 1 Mar at home of daughter Mrs. E. G. Briggs, buried at Mennonite's Cemetery near her old home, born 7 June 1830 Krehbiel Bavaria, at 9y to US with parents to Vermillion Twp., married 10 Jan 1850, husband died July 1885, her father and brother and sister died when she was in teens, remaining sister died 1852, her mother died 1855, 8 children of which Emma died in infance, Alice died July 1888 and Mary died Oct 1892, those surviving are Mrs. Aurelia Briggs of Ashland, Mrs. Augusta Long and John of Hayesville, Jacob of Cleveland and Arthur of Findlay.

MYERS, Henry, 70y, died Friday at his home on Orange St., born MD 21 Dec 1835, had lived in Ashland 37y, children: J. W., D. M., Mrs. D. W. Gans and Mrs. A. L. Garber, sisters: Mrs. John Shidler of Ashland and Mrs. Joseph Roop of ND, buried Ashland Cemetery.

KEISTER, Henry, of Perrysville, died Wednesday, 57y, wife and daughter Mrs. Sophia Whittemire, military career with regular army of US over 30 yrs.

BASSFORD, child, of near Redhaw, died Thursday.

LEIDIGH, Mrs., died Thursday at home of daughter Mrs. Michael McNaul, 91y.

POWLES, Henry, found dead in bed Thursday, body taken to New London. (Ruggles news)

FICKES, Emma, died, 45y9m14d, buried Maple Grove Cemetery.

JOB, Samuel, funeral at Big Prairie Tuesday, f/o Mrs. Asa Lybarger.

JOHNSTON, Dr. John F., formerly of Ashland Co., died at home of daughter, Mrs. N. B. Strickler, in Columbus on 3 Mar, 70y.

LEIDIG, Esther, died Thursday at home of daughter, Sofia McNaul, 4 miles South of Ashland, born Aug 1814, married twice, children of 1st marriage: 4 daughters, 2 surviving, Mrs. McNaul and Mrs. Buchanen of Loudonville, children of 2nd marriage: 2 sons, John of East of Ashland and Monroe of Sidney, buried in Ashland Cemetery (elsewhere in paper) died 2 Mar, nee Wise, her father settled near Rowsburg in 1812.
