KENNEDY, Mrs. Mary E. Hough, w/o Samuel B., died 28 Oct, d/o Solomon Hough of Ashland Co., born 2 July 1850, 54y3m24d, married 24 June 1873 and lived at her birthplace til 1889, to Hayesville, sons: Montford H. and Boyce D., 2 sisters and 1 brother. (see previous article)

ZIMMERMAN, Jesse Pearl, died 9 Oct, 20y10m16d, born near Jeromesville 23 Nov 1883.

IKINS, Fred W., of Akron, 18y, nephew of Mrs. A. S. Miller of Ashland, died Springfield Lake near Akron in hunting accident Tuesday.

JACOBS, Samuel B., died Wednesday, 54y, s/o John who died abt 1860, brother of F. S. and Mrs. Sue M. Kenny of Ashland, born in old homestead on Center St.

MILLER, Fred, 19y, killed in shooting accident near New Pittsburg, shot Wednesday and died Thursday; shot by Robert Campbell of Red Haw 19y old grandson of Mrs. Rebecca McKee; Fred was s/o Joseph who lives 1 mile East of Red Haw, siblings: Mrs. Peter Shelley of 3 miles South of Wooster, Mary and Joseph Jr. at home, funeral at Wooster, uncles: Bert Bevington and Ross Riffil of Wooster, father formerly of Congress Twp.

NOGGLE, Mrs. John, of Crestline died yesterday, buried Mansfield Cemetery, sister of John Ridgley and sister-in-law of John Scott of Ashland.

KEISTER, Jacob, died Massillon St. Hospital 3 Nov, had been there 3y2m, born 1833, 72y, raised at Hayesville, wife and children: Mrs. Martin Snader and George Edgar of Ashland, and Mrs. William Tobias of Mansfield, 2 children died previously, burial in Ashland Cemetery.

FURHMAN, Mr., funeral at Pleasant Home Sunday, died Friday, f/o F. E., 70y, buried at West Salem, 2 other children.

BISHOP, Mrs. Conrad, died at Red Haw last Sunday, 65y, d/o George Mullhollan of Canaan Twp., Wayne Co. OH.

RICHARDS, Wesley, 77y, died Wednesday 2 1/2 miles East of Nankin, wife and children: Mary Johnson, Hattie Newell, Lydia Morr, Minerval Gerring, Coleman Richards and James Richards all of near home; & Mary Humerickhouser, Mrs. Lucinda Nell and Mrs. Edward Kreiger are all deceased.

DORLAND, Ida, w/o Charles J., died Peoria IL 23 Oct, buried Bellville OH, born Ashland OH, to IL 7 yrs ago, son: Ralph E. of Williamsfield IL. (see previous article)

CROWELL, Mrs. George E., 83y last Mar, widow, died at home of granddaughter, Mrs. Dr. Mary Neptune of Loudonville, husband died 1880 and several children died previously, sister of Dr. David S. and Dr. Joseph S. died in Ashland, Dr. Nicholas died at Delaware, Dr. Paul W. died at Elyria, Mrs. Lydia Sprague died at Cleveland, surviving children: Dr. Joseph E. of Ashland, Dr. Thornton of Nankin, Mrs. M. McClain of Loudonville, and Mrs. Belle L. Riser of Onarga IL.

SEARS, Charles, died at home of sister, Mrs. Thomas Rankin on Sandusky St. Wednesday, father of Bluffton IN, 21y 3 Nov, siblings: Garfield of Ashland, Mrs. Mary Weaver and John of Mansfield, mother and siblings: William, Louis, Amanda, Minnie, George and Emma died previously, burial in Ashland.

SKINNER, Calvin C., died 22 Oct, s/o John D. and Clarissa, born 17 June 1854 at old homestead, a daughter Adaline seriously ill, a daughter Emma died 6 weeks ago, typhoid, Adaline is youngest of 10 of which 6 survive, 1 Dec 1878 married Flora J. Chandler of Sullivan, wife, son and 3 daughters survive. (from Dimondale MI news)

FORD, Ruth, 73y, died Tuesday, born Richland Co. Oct 1831, surviving siblings: Charles and Mrs. Kirk of Ashland, J. W. of Clearcreek Twp., John and Elias of North of Ashland, George of Savannah, and Mrs. Christofel of Ashland.

CRAMER, Mrs. George, of Brooklyn NY, died Saturday, formerly of Ashland.

DEVORE, Susan, 109y, oldest of 6, died near Brink Haven, born Lancaster Co. PA d/o Joseph Brawn of PA German stock, 1814 married Andrew Devore, 8 children (4 boys and 4 girls), 1837 to OH, settled Tiverton Twp., Knox Co., 2 children survive: Mrs. Susan Nyhart and Mrs. Barbara Crider, son John died a week before her at age 84y. (see previous article on John)

POAST, Robert, of Holmes Co., hung self Sunday at his home near Nashville, 60y, child: Mrs. Mowery.

SHIPLEY, Lawrence, 23y, of 2 miles NE of Fredericktown, killed self with carbolic acid, found dead Tuesday.

FURMAN, Michael, f/o Ed of Ashland, died 3 Nov in Congress Twp., Wayne Co. OH.

LONG, Mrs. George, died at Hayesville Fri, 70y, 2 sons and 3 daughters.
