C., died Friday in Kenton OH, formerly of Ashland, born New York NY 5 July 1844, orphan since infancy - his mother died shortly after his birth, father died while returning home from England, he and older brother taken to IN to friends, Co K MD Vol Calvary, then to Loudonville OH, 22 years ago to Kenton, married lst in Ashland, 4 children of which 3 survive, married 2nd in Kenton, children: Mrs. Will Alger of Mansfield, J. C. of Columbus and Auqus of Kenton. LERSCH, Jacob, died at home on W. Sandusky St. Monday, daughter Winifred 9y, Mrs. Claude Grovell of Sandusky sister of wife, married 10 years ago to Callie McNeff of LaRue, brothers: Earnest and Arthur, 4 sisters: 3 in Mansfield and 1 in FL, 38y last March, buried Ashland Cemetery.
