Conday, c/o Mrs Tale, 3 Carlton House Terr, Pall Mall, London W. The return address is: 1 Bellvue Terrace, St Stephens, nr St Austell, Cornwall. "Dear W. I arrived here yesterday alright had a pleasant journey down. Hope you are enjoying yourself & having nice weather. Ask Auntie J does she recognize Mr Truscotts Boot Shop & our school. Mrs. C. live just near the school by the X love to you all mother." Postage date is 24 August 1932. Noreen further explains those mentioned. Emma Nicholls Conday is 'mother'. Emma was born in St. Stephens In Brannel in 1886. 'Auntie J' was Elizabeth Jane Nicholls born 1884 in St. Stephens and a sister to Emma. 'W' is Noreen's father. This postcard was sent to him when he went on holiday from Plymouth to Auntie Janes in London. At the same time, his mother 'Emma' went on holiday from Plymouth to St. Stephens. |

| Noreen's "Gran" had written on the back of the village picture that it shows the "Truscotts Boot Shop" and "our school".
