Zipporah Lee (b 1896, Bolton) daughter of Jane Kenyon and niece of Benjamin and Nellie Knowles of 38 Chalfont St, Bolton. Married Rupert Cecil RHODES in 1925. She died 15 September 1991 aged 95yrs bur/cremated Hamilton Park Cemetery, New Zealand. Rupert Cecil RHODES died 10 January 1974 aged 74yrs also at Hamilton. Photo c.1908. The woman is Margaret Banks, aged 34, who was the children's aunt.  The boy is Henry Edward Banks and the girl Mary Margaret (Cis) Banks. Could the gentleman be  Patrick Scott, the children's grandfather, born 1853 in Newcastle on Tyne? His parents came from Foxford, Co.Mayo, Ireland.

This photograph was taken by J Hargreaves, 74 Bridge St, Bolton, who appears in the Bolton Trade Directories between 1895-1917.  However, our lister thinks the dress dates from an earlier period than that.
