Info at FamilySearch.com says there is a Peter Bodine who was baptized in 1710 at Three Mile Run, New Jersey. Other information says he was born about 1714 and married a woman named "Eme__." Neither gives a source, but I would assume Peter was born second since his Bodine grandfather was named John. His Van Nest grandfather was named Peter. This means the first born son would have been named John and the second born son named Peter. That was the usual pattern anyway among the Dutch. Peter's brother, David, may have been named after Mary Van Nest's first husband.
