Mrs. Lannie Wissinger, Rites

Services for Mrs. Lannie Wissinger, 88, Potsdam, widow of Chas. Wissinger, were held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Potsdam Church of The Brethren of which she was a member. Her pastor, Rev. L. John Weaver, officiated at the rites and interment was made in the Potsdam cemetery with arrangements by the Roy H. Miller funeral home. Grandsons born her body to its last resting place.

Mrs. Wissinger died Sept. 1st in the Baker rest home, 230 N. Miami St., where she had been a patient 10 months. 

She was a native of Union township, she had lived in and around Potsdam for 40 years. She was the daughter of George and Catherine Brown Meyers, her birth occurring Nov. 7, 1864.

Preceded by her husband in 1926, Mrs. Wissinger's survivors include a son Walter, of Lewisburg; four daughters, Mrs. Blanche Althouse of Brookville, R. 1; Mrs. Grace Karns, Arcanum, R. 2; Mrs. Bessie Sease of Laura; and Mrs. Dora Pearson of Hasket rd., West Milton, R. 1; two brothers and a sister, Henry Myers of Phillipsburg, Lewis Myers and Mrs. J. P. (Amanda) Robbins of Potsdam; 27 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren.
