Thomas Chamberlain and Mary his wife, to Melchizadek Richardson and Elizabeth his wife, for valuable consideration, 50 acres, bounded by brook that divides Maj. Chamberlain from Richard Ligon, for yearly rent of 1 bowl of good made punch. Wit: Wm Ligon, Fran. Edwin, Charles Roberts. Signed: Tho. Chamberlayn, Mary Chamberlayn. Recorded 2 Aug 1686.” (Ref 1)

Wit: Mel Richardson, Zacheus Ellis. Signed: Richard Kennon. 1 Dec 1686. Melchizadeck Richardson, age 38, says that he heard Edmund Belsher promise to Jeremiah Chaplin, that if he served faithfully 3 years, he would give him the 4th, the said Chaplin being servant to Belsher for 4 years. 1 Dec 1686. The Virginia Genealogical Society in Richmond, Virginia: Story concerning Melchizedek Richardson, d 1701, Henrico County, Virginia.  The will was lost.  Herrico Order Book 1701 gives Elizabeth Branch Richardson, wife as Administrator of his will.  Question about a possible son named John Richardson being born to them.  He died in 1753, Cumberland County and was married to Mary Curd (d of Edward Curd).  (This is their son John b 1700 d 1753)
Town of Bermuda, Pride's Lot: "Melchiz" Melchizedek Richardson & wife, Elizabeth Branch owned a lot in the Pride's Lot community in 1715.  (The lot must have been owned by his wife, Elizabeth as he was then deceased.)  Taken from the Virginians:"Family of John Pritchett"; In the era of the life of relative William Pritchett, 1650-1723.
