Notes for Marshall Presley Martin
Marshall Presley Martin was the fifth son of William and Sarah Martin. Marshall was born on July 31st, 1847 in Weakley County and died on July 22nd, 1896. He owned land on the west side of the railroad tracks in Martin and developed many of the town’s early businesses. He donated land for churches, schools, and parks. Marshall Presley was married twice.
