COMO - Edna Farmer, 82, died Monday at her home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ridgeway Morticians of Paris with burial in Olive Branch Cemetery in Cottage Grove. She was a member of Thompson Creek Baptist Church and served on the Tennessee Baptist Convention Women's Missionary Union board for several years. She had also worked for Remnant House and Belk's. Mrs. Farmer, the wife of William A. Farmer, also leaves a daughter, Ramona Huttenstine of Como; a son, Donald Lee Farmer of Fort Worth, Texas; two sisters, Virgie Summers and Gladys Todd, both of Paris, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
