Irvin Asbury Died Feb. 20th
Irvin Leroy Asbury was born in the town of Genoa, Wis., on March 18, 1870. He spent his boyhood on "Asbury Ridge" with his parents.
When a young man, he spent several years in Nebraska, but most of his life was lived in Wisconsin. The last 35 years he had lived in the vicinity of Warrens where he passed away at his brother's home on February 20, 1943.
He is survived by three brothers, Gilbert, Brewster, Washington; Reuben, and Edmund of Warrens; two sisters, Mrs. Marilla Pittenger, Iowa City, Iowa, Mrs. Frank Clark, La Moille, Minn., also several nephews and neices and friends.
Four sisters preceded him in death, Alice, Mrs. James Chambers, Tomah, Lila, Mrs. Sidney Manning, Warrens, and Ida and Esther, who died in infancy. One brother, Thomas, died in infancy.
Funeral services were held at White Funeral Home on Monday, Feb. 22, the Rev W.C. Boyd officiating.
