Obituary: Edmund A. Asbury
Edmund Alexander Asbury, son of Thomas and Emmaline Asbury was born in the town of Genoa, living there until he grew to young manhood. On July 2, 1893, he was married to Louise J. Hayden. In 1904 Mr. and Mrs. Asbury moved to a farm near Warrens and have made their home in and near Warrens since that time.
Mr. Asbury passed away suddenly at his home here on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 1943, aged 77 years, 7 months. He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife Louise, two sons, Frank of El Mont, Calif. and Victor of Valley Junction, Wis.; two daughters, Beatrice (Mrs. Leslie Rezin), and Lillian (Mrs. Bert Rice), both of Warrens; two brothers, Gilbert of Brewster, Wash., and Reuben of Wyeville, Wis.; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Clarke of La Moille, Minn. and Mrs. Rella Rittenger [sic] of Iowa City, Iowa; seven grandchildren and many friends. Preceding him in death were one brother Irwin [sic] and two sisters, Lila (Mrs. Sidney Manning), and Alice (Mrs. Jim Chambers).
