Discription: Crest: A helm with escallaps. Shield: "Quarterly, 1 and 4, sable a cross patee, 2 and 3 a lion rampant sable."
Symbolic of fierce character, courage and bravery. The cross shows simple heraldic form it may of had religious connotations.
