Database updated in May 2008, another update coming soon, up to over 6100 names! I've been busy!

Links page has been updated, first time since 2004! Many broken links fixed.

Blust-Schlotterer lines - Many names and dates added!
Descendants of Anthony & Catherine (Drerup) Blust - several hundred names added!
Schmidt line - some new dates and census information found.
Fohl, Martha - parents and 2 brothers discovered from 1850 census!
Reed, Henry (b. 1805) Wife's name discovered, as well as approx. birth year for family members.
Reed, Henry (Jr. & Sr.) - Looks like they may be the same person!
Jacob Reed (b. 1777), father of Henry (Sr.) would have been about 28 in 1805 when grandson Henry (Jr.) was born, highly unlikely!
Are Philipena and Wilhelmina the same lady, or two different marriages?

I recently took some more photos at St. Mary's Cemetery in Avilla. What for them to be posted here soon and at FindaGrave.com

Database has been updated with more than 200 new names added, with 4940 names total.
My intent of this page was to let you know "what" new info. I have added, but unfortunately I misplaced my notes.

We have lost several living family members in the past year, and most of them are not included in the update yet. I hope to have a new revision of the database by the end of the year.

Homepage has been revised with a new look! I am not sure if this will be the final product, but I have been wanting to make it so it is more user friendly, it will work for now.

Database has been updated! I will try to update it at least quarterly from now on!

NEW PHOTOS AND ARCHIVES! I have added a new page! I have several photos and many documents that I have not put on the website yet, and I would like to share those as well! I also encourage contributions to the archives, and I will be more than happy to give you credit for your contributions!

I have removed the link to, as well as my database, to GenCircles. They started charging for their "Smart Matches." This is what makes them unique, but I am a huge fan of free genealogy, like here at Rootsweb! I am also a fan of Ancestry.com and they charge fees, but this is for research material, not "user" provided databases. I do not want anyone making money off my research without my permission.

New Page has been added! The Letters to Carrie and Allie Barbee.
Daughters of Sarah McFall and Solomon Barbee, Granddaughters of Joseph and Mary "polly" (Marsh) McFall.
These letters, written between 1865 and 1878 were discovered in the 1990's in the walls, while renovating the home, once belonged to Solomon and Sarah Barbee. The owner of the home, Becky, found my website, and sent me photocopies of the letters. To view the letters, click on McFall in the name index on the homepage, and scroll to the very bottom.

I have been working on updating my database, hope to update it online soon!

Email links have been changed, again! Links will open a new page for email contact to my NEW EMAIL ADDRESS. If you have my email beginning with k727407 or kmail... those email addresses will no longer be valid after April 30, 2005. I finally upgraded to high speed cable internet.

All webpages have been changed due to webpage background and some photos residing on my old servers. If you find missing photos, pages without a background (all white background), or old email links, please let me know!

New photos from the Blust and Schlotterer families coming soon! I purchased a new scanner, and the images are too large to put online, I need to figure out how to adjust the size, then I will get them online!

It's taking me a while, but changes and lots of "new stuff" have finally arrived!
Formerly hosting two separate data bases, one for Pfefferkorn family and one for everyone else, I have merged them into one database, it's easier for me to manage!

I have been waiting to "finish" some of my stacks of info before updating database, but is a genealogist ever finished with their stacks? Update is here! Will continue to update.

The "Blust" family page has been completely re-written, with lots of new info! Also new is the Blust Photo Page with several identified and unidentified photos. Take a look! Maybe you can identify someone!

I also removed "new" from several of the links pages which have been there for quite some time. Next time you see one, it should be new!

It has been 2 1/2 years since I made any updates, WOW! How time flies!
I had to put a hold on genealogy for a while after I started my "new" job, 2 1/2 years ago, as I did not have as much free time. I caught the "bug" again, and have been dabbling at updating my records, and recording hundreds of pages of research on various families I have found in what little time I did have to dabble in my research. I am also working on starting a new filing system (Ugghh!) for the hundreds of hard pages of research and emails I have compiled over the years, and archiving photos and documents by burning them on CD's for future preservation.

I am currently focusing on updating my database (update coming soon!) and researching the BLUST, SCHLOTTERER, SCHUCHT, and SCHMIDT families of Noble Co., Indiana and Seneca Co., and Hamilton Co., Ohio.

My email address has changed! I have changed it on several webpages, but have not made it to all of them yet.
Please verify the address before using the links. I still have the old one (k727407) but it is a spam collector and I do not check it often. My current email address is kmail@myvine.co m I try to check it a couple times a week, but sometimes slow to respond, please have patience!
