Denver, Colorado. Parents were profesional musicians of Prussian desscent.
COLORADO - (See California and Michigan)
INDIANA - Descendants of John & Carolina Pfefferkorn of DeKalb Co., IN
who emigrated in 1880 from Schirrhein, Alsace, France. John is the nephew of Andreas Pfefferkorn of the Missouri Pfefferkorns.
KANSAS, (FORD Co.), PFEFFERKORN/PEPPERCORN
Looking for ancestors and descendants of JOHN and KATHARINA MEYERS
MARYLAND - descended from LOUIS PFEFFERKORN who immigrated into Baltimore about 1854, from Franzensbad, Austria (now Frantiskovy Lazne, Czech Republic).
MICHIGAN - Brothers, GOTTFRIED AND FREDERICK PFEFFERKORN
who came over from Prussia about 1857(?) and settled in the Detroit, Michigan area.
Gottfried Pfefferkorn[1832/3 -1877], had one son (Charles, who eventually moved to
Denver, Colorado), and three daughters (only one of whom married).
Friedrich [d. 1893], also settled in Detroit. He had three daughters: Emma, Clara,
and Ellen, and two sons, Arthur and Elmer.
MISSOURI - Descendants of Andreas and Marie Pfefferkorn of Scott Co., MO
who emigrated from Schirrhein, Alsace, France in 1847. Andreas was Uncle to John Pfefferkorn of the Indiana Pfefferkorns
WISCONSIN - (WILHELM) MARTIN PFEFFERKORN, and his wife, JOHANNA STRASSER,
who came to the Manitowoc, Wisconsin area in the spring of 1856. They were from
the village of Neuenberg, province of Brandenburg, Prussia. They sailed to Quebec
and traveled by rail to Wisconsin. They had six children: Emelia, August, William,
Justina, Otilla, and Ferdinand.
WORLD WIDE PFEFFERKORNS
AUSTRIA - Searching for MARIA PULCHARIA PFEFFERKORN, born in Gasburn Austria,
January 25, 1857. She married Joseph VALLASTER in Austria and had two children
John Jay, Isabelle Barbara, and then Matilda when they were in St. Louis Missouri.
They later came to Woodward, Oklahoma. Joseph went on to Mount Angel, Oregon
and died there. Maria, John, Isabelle, and Matilda are buried in Oklahoma.
Came to St. Louis, MO, June 28, 1890 from Austria, then in 1894 moved to Oklahoma.

Pfefferkorns of Schirrhein, France (aka Schirrheim)
located in this village as early as 1730.

South America.

Niederbieber, near Neuwied, in Rhineland, Germany
