This page is dedicated to our immigrant ancestors John & Carolina Pfefferkorn
who departed Harve, France in 1880 and arrived in New York City
on the ship L'Americque on April 22, 1880.
John & Carolina stayed for a short while in Ohio (1880 Ohio Census)
and in 1881 settled near Summit in Northern Dekalb County, Indiana.
where they permanently settled.
More information to be posted soon!
This page was last revised on Dec.28, 2004

Special recognition and thanks to Elsie (Bockleman) Pfefferkorn
who provided most of the decendant information presented here.
Special recognition also to cousin Denny Royal, who has helped with some
information from Schirrhein.
Be sure to check out the "Schirrhein Connection" link below! It has a wealth of
information on the people of Schirrhein, France...the hometown of John & Carolina.
There are over 1150 names in the Pfefferkorn database!
I would "guesstimate" that about 60-70% + of all descendants of John and Carolina Pfefferkorn
are listed here!
The separate "Pfefferkorn database" was taken off line and merged with my other Family Tree Database.
Although I regretted doing it, it is much easier for me to maintain this way. All information can still be
found in my online database.
There are many family lines that are up to date up until about 1980.
MOST information SINCE 1980 I DO NOT HAVE! I welcome your additions and/or corrections!
Family photos are also most
welcome, and encouraged!
St. Michael's Cemetery headstone photos are now online! See Link below.
There are several family lines that have come to a complete stop.
Please let me know if YOUR family is missing!
