UNITED STATES BLUST

CALIFORNIA - JANICE BLUST- Someone is looking for her mom's best friend from high school - Janice. Lived in Palm Springs in the 1950's. Originally from wisconsin. Father was Anthony Blust, a bartender.

FLORIDA - RICK BLUST - approx 43, former military, Karen Gorski is looking for you!

ILLINOIS - FRANK BLUST b Nov 1870 in Freeport, Stephenson Co., Illinois. He married Lilian MacKay (McKay; McKey; MacKey) b Aug 1875 in Iowa. They had 2 children Eva & Charles. Eva was born May 1894 in Il and Charles was born May 10 1900 in Freeport. I think his parents were Andrew and Elizabeth Meyers (Meiers). He may have had a brother Frederick.

ILLINOIS - LOUISE BLUST, married William clayton Ilgen 1904. Wm born 4-11-1875, died 10-15-1942. Louise died 11-16-1930. Believe she was born & died in Stephenson Co., Ill.

ILLINOIS - TAZEWELL CO., MARY ANN BLUST, mother of ARNHOLD BLUST, b. 1823, Grand Duchy of Baden; d. October 20, 1865,Tazewell Co., Pekin, IL. He married CATHARINA MARIA HOTZE HATZE, born in Prussia. Children of ARNHOLD BLUST and CATHARINA BLUST are: MELINDA MAGDALINE BLUST, b. 1858, m. HENRY KAPMEYER, September 04, 1876; LOUIS BLUST, b. December 11, 1860, d. January 10, 1881;

LOUISIANA - NEW ORLEANS - MAGDELEINE (MAGDELENA)BLOUSTE/BLUST/BLUEST
Gr-grandfather was Bennen. He lists on his Marriage certificate his mother as MAGDELEINE BLOUSTE and father as FREDERIC BENAN. My g-g-grandfather's name was Blust / Bluest (probably Louis or Ludwig) . Married in early 1850's in Baden-Baden to Magdelena Cecilia Kessel. They had 2 children: Francis (Francois) Xavier was born 3 May 1856 and (Mary?) Cecilia was born Nov. 1857. He died sometime before widow and children left for America in 1859/60. His children took their stepfather's name (Bennen).

OHIO - ASHLAND CO. - JOHN GEORGE BLUST - aka JOHANN GEORG BLUST
was born 1 Nov 1794 in Baden Germany, died 26 Aug 1879. He came to this country about 1819 as a "Certificate of Application" was filed in Frederick County Maryland at that time. He maried Christina Cook about 1824 in Ohio. She was born in Germany. John and Christina resided in Ashland County Ohio. They are both buried in the Mt. Zion cemetery at Lucas, Richland County Ohio. They had eight children, including John and Jonas. See also, Germany - Baden

OHIO - BERNHARD BLUST - Looking for information on siblings or ancestors of Bernhard (Benhart, Berkhart, Barney) Blust. Born in Wurttemberg, Germany in November 1841. Came to America in 1868. Settled in Trenton, Ohio in 1873. Had 8 children (John, Anna, Mary, Emma, Charles, Fred, William, Infant), 1 grandchild (John B), 4 great grandchildren (Mary, John E, William F, Chardelle) and 11 great great grandchildren.

OHIO - SENECA CO. - GEORGE BLUST, son of Ignace and Anne Marie Auman(n) of Schirrhein, Bas Rin (Alsace) France, born 16 April, 1806 in Bischwiller, Bas Rhin, France, died 15 January 1871 in Ohio, probably in Seneca Co. He married first, Elizabeth MEYER in Schirrhein, Bas Rhin, France. She was born in Germany (Probably Shirrhein, France area) and died in OH. Their children were Anthony (Jan. 1841), Martinius (Sept. 13, 1844), Maria (1846), Ignatius (1848), and Otto (1850).
George married second, Anna Winters on May 28, 1854 in Ohio. This mariage was annulled.
George married third, Magdeline (Hertzer) Apple on 13 April 1858 in Crawford, Ohio. Magdeline was born in Austria and died in Ohio. She had a daughter, Mary Apple, born 1855 in Ohio.
George and Magdeline had five more children together: Beneranda (Nov. 5, 1862), Joseph (1862), John (1865), Pius (1866), and Leo (1868).

PENNSYLVANIA - ADAM BLUST(E) - Looking for info on Civil War veteran Adam Blust(e) who served with the 87th Pennsylvania Infantry. Blust(e), Adam, Pvt Co B; mustered Sep 14, 1861; discharged Oct 13, 1864; born 1839 in Lebanon, Pennsylvania; died Jun 5, 1905; a railroad freight conductor from Dauphin County; originally enrolled as Adam Broust, probably by error; kept "a pocket diary through the war"; married Anna ?; children: Harry (d. 1938) and Anna (married a Robinson); buried in East Harrisburg Cemetery, Penbrook, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.

BELGIUM - PAULINE BLUST She came to US in 1893 having departed from Antwerp Belgium.

FRANCE - ALSACE / BAS RHIN, BISCHWILLER See Schirrhein

FRANCE - ALSACE / BAS RHIN, SCHIRRHEIN - IGNACE BLUST born in St. Chireim, Bischwiller, Bas Rin, died November 25, 1840 in Schirrhein. He married Marie Anne Amman (Aumann). She was born in 1780. (St. Chireim is most likely the village church.) They had the following known children:
1.* George Blust, b. April 16, 1806 in Bischwiller, married Elisabeth Meyer, April 23, 1835 in Schirrhein. (See Ohio, Seneca Co.);
2. Sugarthe Catherine Blust born 1802. She married Antoine Martin, January 18, 1831 in Schirrhein. They had two children, Marie Eve Martin b. 1831, and Reine Matin, b. 1832.
3. Michel Blust, b. August 31, 1810, in Schirrhein, married Richarde Schmitter, October 03, 1841 in Schirrhein.
4. Joseph Blust, b. October 07, 1812 in Schirrhein, married Eve Martin (b. September 25, 1814) July 31, 1841, in Schirrhein.

FRANCE - ALSACE / BAS RHIN, SCHIRRHEIN - LOUIS BLUST, son of George Blust and Elizabeth Hitzinger, born 1759 and married Regina Halter, April 04, 1796, in Schirrhein. They had a son Nicolas Blust who married Madeleine Scheibert, January 18, 1830 in Schirrhein.

FRANCE - ALSACE / BAS RHIN, SCHIRRHEIN - LUIGERE BLUST, married Antoine Martin, and they had a daughter, Veronique Martin, b. May 16, 1841 in Schirrhein.

GERMANY - OTTOSCHWANDEN, BADEN - JOHANN GEORG BLUST the village in Germany where John George was born. See Ohio, Ashland Co.

GERMANY - Wurttemberg - see Ohio, Bernhard
