Practically the only landmark left of the city of Pithole and even this is destined in a few years to disappear as it is in bad condition now.  May 1918.

These photos belonged to the teacher for  this school term, Hazel D. Cann, of Oil City, who later married Howard E. Blum of Tionesta.  She met him while teaching at Pithole.
