SHOE MERCHANT
George Pidgeon of Tonawanda, son of the late William Pidgeon, who was a
Rochester shoe merchant, died April 15 in Tonawanda.
George Pidgeon was in business with his father many years ago. The Pidgeon
Shoe Store first was on Front Street and later State Street.
Mr. Pidgeon and his wife, Jessie Ellicott Pidgeon, moved to Tonawanda 30 years
ago. She survives him. The funeral service and burial were in
Tonawanda.
