JOHN INGERSENT CANN

CO D 16TH PENNSYLVANIA VOLUNTEERS

 

To all Whom it May Concern:

Know Ye, That John I. Cann, a Private of Company D, of the 16th Regiment of Pennsylvania Volunteers, who was enrolled on the 17th day of April, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-eight, to serve two (2) years, or during the war, is hereby discharged from the service of the United States, by reason of Muster Out.

The said John I. Cann was born in Meadville, in the State of Pennsylvania and when enrolled was 25 years of age, 5 feet 11 inches high, fair complexion, brown eyes, black hair, and by occupation a machinist.

       Given at Oil City, Pa this 28th day

    of December, 1898
