Death record for Anna Park in Ayer gives a birthplace of Montpelier, VT, parents names of [Unknown] and Jane Shurtliff, with their birthplaces unknown.
48 Samuel Radue.
Born abt 1760/70. Occupation: Shepherd (Schäfer).
Samuel Radue may or may not be the father of
Christian Radue, but the following information from the church books of Sonnenberg/Lebehn/Kyritz suggests that he could be.
One Carl Samuel Radue, Schäfer Knecht, son of Schäfer Samuel Radue of Lebehn, married Dorothea Borchart on October 25, 1818, when he was 27. Thus Carl Samuel was born about 1791, and his father Samuel perhaps 1760-70. In 1818 there is a baptism sponsor named Christian Radue, described as "Schäfers Sohn." Other Radues (David and Michel) are elsewhere described as "Schäfer Knecht," and sometimes there is a reference to simply "Schäfer Radue." Since Christian is described by reference to his father, perhaps this suggests that he is a young man or boy without profession yet (although most likely confirmed). This timing is consistent with Ferdinand Wilhelm's father Christian, who was having his family in the 1820s - 1830s.
