Unnerstall, Mary T. Walker; grandmother to 30, great-grandmother to 47, great-great-grandmother to 3, aunt and friend to many.
Visitation on Thursday, June 2, from 4 until 8 p.m. at FOREVER Oak Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 10301 Big Bend Rd., Kirkwood 63122 (I-44 & Big Bend). Funeral Mass at St. Peter's Catholic Church on Friday, June 3, at 9:30 a.m. Interment at St. Mary's Church Cemetery in Villa Ridge, MO., following a brief ceremony at St. Mary's Church. Preceded in death by adoring wife Bettye Jayne Deutschmann ( nee Berg ), brother Joseph Deutschmann, sisters Cecilia Buettner, Bernadine Deutschmann, Marie Daniel, and Loretta Deutschmann. He is survived by sisters Elizabeth Cornwell, Marcella Rott, La Verne Dolan, Romaine Bramlet, Jean Rose Howe and sister-in-law Earlene Cerny with extended family and friends beyond measure.
Fran was a loyal member of the Armed Forces as a tank instructor and specialist during WW II, a devoted and loyal employee of the "Coca Cola Family" including their representative and goodwill ambassador on the Olympic Committee, V. P . Fair, Variety Club telethon, PGA Tour, Polo matches and many, many other Coke sponsored events. A community leader in the Republican Party having attended the National Convention as an Alternate-Delegate, a selection committee member for scholarships awarded to students to the service Academies, and a volunteer with the City of Florissant as a Senior Advocate. Services: Funeral Saturday May 20, 9:00 am from Bopp Chapel, 10610 Manchester Rd, Kirkwood to St. Peter Catholic Church for a 9:30 am Mass; Interment St. Peter's Cemetery; Visitation Friday 4 - 8 pm at Bopp Chapel.
