Poepsel will conduct the rites and burial will be in the church cemetery. Rosary will be recited tonight, Thursday, at the Earl J. Smith Funeral Home in Oran.
Mr. Spooler was born in Holland on January 10, 1874. He came to the Leopold community when a young man and later moved to a farm near Oran.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lena Spooler; three sons, Ben Spooler of Leopold, John Spooler of chaffee and Albert Spooler at home; four daughters, Mrs. Herman Scharenborg and Mrs. Ernest Reischman of Oran, Mrs. Hillary Hinkebein of Leopold, and Mrs. Agnes Spooler at home; a sister, Mrs Drecks Nance of Oran; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren
