     Chapel Hill Memorial Park Cemetery (Largo, FL) is located at 12905 Wild Acres Road in Largo, Pinellas County, Florida.
     Chapel Hill Memorial Park is located at 12905 Wild Acres Road in Largo, Florida. To access the cemetery one would travel Ulmerton Road .51 miles east of Starkey Road turning South onto Wild Acres Road travel just .28 miles. This cemetery was established 1968 with the help of Dr. Philip Benjamin who was a member of the B'nai Israel Synagogue in St. Petersburg. B'nai Israel Synagogue became the owner shortly thereafter. In October 1998 the cemetery was sold to Stewart Enterprises in Orlando, Florida. Pinellas Genealogy Society project chair Lesleigh Laite Butts, assisted by PGS members Mary Flora, Theresa DeRolf, Pat Johnston, Everett Van Riper and Rae Rose conducted the survey between November 22, 1999 and January 8, 2000. Several additional interments beyond the January 8th date were picked up as varification was performed. Photographs of the cemetery and several of the headstones were taken. Obituaries and photographs of some of those interred were obtained. This index is provided by the Pinellas Genealogy Society.      Fred married Dorothy A. L. (?).1      Fred Earl Linkogle Jr, son of Fred Earl Linkogle and Anna M. (?), was born on 27 November 1924.1,2 At the time of his death the location for mailing benefits was reported as Palmetto, Manatee County, Florida by the Social Security Administration.2
     Fred died on 2 December 2004 at age 80.2 His obituary was published in the The Alton Telegraph Newspaper on 7 December 2004.3 His obituary stated:
F. Earl Linkogle Jr., 80, died Friday, Dec. 3, 2004, in Palmetto, Fla. Born in Alton, he was the son a a former mayo of Alton, Fred Earl Linkogle Sr. He moved to Largo in 1966 from Alton and then to St. Petersburg, Fla., in 1998. He attended Shurtleff College in Alton and graduated from the University of Missouri School of Mines in Rolla. He retired as chief mechanical engineer from the Panama Canal Commission, where he worked from 1975 to 1986. A Marine Corps veteran, he served in the Pacific Theater during World War II and also in the Korean conflict. He was discharged at the rank of captain.
A member of the West Central Florida Boy Scouts of America, he served on the board for Troup 18 at Highland Presbyterian Church. He received the Silver Beaver and the Order of the Arrow. He was a member of the Engineering Society of Pinellas Co. and the past president of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
He was a member of the Northwest Presbyterian Church in St. Petersburg.
Surviving are four sons, Earl Jay Linkogle of Asheville, N.C., James K. Linkogle of Palmetto and John S. and Robert L. Linkogle, both of St. Petersburg; a sister, Jane Reining of LaCanada, Calif; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Moss-Feaster Funeral Home in Largo is in charge of arrangements
