Funeral services for Mrs. Fred Nolte, 45, of Ft. Russel Township, who died at the home of her brother, Charles Bartels in Wood River, Saturday at 3:40 a. m. of a malignant growth, will be held on Monday at 1:15 p. m. at the Bartels home 803 Ferguson Avenue in Wood River. Services will follow at the Zion's Lutheran Church in Bethalto at 2 p. m. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Rev. W. G. Bruegman will be in charge.
     Mrs. Nolte was born Oct. 29, 1889 in rush Hill, Mo., a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bartels. She married Fred Nolte March 23, 1915. Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Clara; four brothers and three sisters, Henry, Louis, Charles and Chris Bartels; Mrs. Jule Schoettle, Mrs. George Albers and Mrs. EMilie Johnson. One sister Lena and a son preceded her in death.
