     Research Note: There were at least three questionable items on his death certificate: His father was listed as John Felix rather than James Felix, his mother as Ann Ferguson instead of Mary Fitzpatrick and his birth year as 1855 rather than 1851. The informant, Sister Ignace de Loyola probably didn't have the correct information.2

     Francis is a head of household (no relatives were residing with him) on the 1910 U. S. Census for ward 19, St. Louis, Missouri, listed as a 58-year-old widower born in Missouri, his father was born in Pennsylvania and his mother in the United States. He could read, write and speak English and was renting a home.10 At the time of his death in 1927, Francis resided at Little Sisters of the Poor in St. Louis, Missouri.2

     He lived with his parents, Ann and Ezekial, in 1840 at Boone Township in Harrison County, Indiana.4
     He lived with his parents, Ann and Ezekial, in 1850 at ward 6 in St. Louis, Missouri.5
     George W. was a carpenter in 1850.5
     George was enumerated with his parent Ezekial L. Dutro under the name of "George Detrol" on the 1850 U. S. Census for ward 6, Missouri. He was listed as a 19-year-old male born in Indiana.5
     He was enumerated with his parent Ezekial L. Dutro on the 1860 U. S. Census for St. Louis, Missouri. He was listed as a 28-year-old white male born in Indiana, was a caroebter and owned real-estate valued at $1,000.00; he may actually been the owner of the house.3
     According to affidavits filed in a suit against his estate, George was very ill and in January, 1866 went to New Orleans Louisiana for treatment, a doctor named Joseph J. Scott treated him daily until he returned to St. Louis in Aprill 1866. A doctor associated with Dr. Scott state Mr. Dutro's was a troublesome, fretfull and annoying case.1
     George died in May 1866 in Missouri.2
     He left a will signed 6 May 1866 in which.1 His will stated "In the name of God Amen!
I the subscriber George W. Dutro of the city & County of St. Louis and State of Missouri, being at present of feeble healt, but of sound and disposing mind and felling naturally solicitious to settle my worldly affairs with which providence had blessed me in such a mannor as to prevent all future doubts and difficulties do mak and publish this as my last will and testament:
First: I will that all my just debts and funeral expenses be fully paid out of my estate as soon as convenient by my executrix herinafter named.
Second: I hereby give and bequeath to my beloved wife Hannah dutro all my property, real personal or mixed, safe what sahll be necessary to pay the debts as aforesaide.
Third: I hereby nominate my said wfe Hannah Dutro to be the sole Executrix of this my last will and Testament.
In witness whereof I hereto set my hand and seal this sixth day of May A.D. 1866.
G. W. Dutro."1 He was buried on 14 May 1866 in Calvary Catholic Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri, in section 11, lot 170.2
     The will of George W. Dutro was proven on 5 July 1866at at Probate Court, St. Louis, Missouri.1 After the probate of his estate was filed, an inventory was taken on 3 September 1866. Otis Breden and Abrm W. Duryee prepared the inventory.1 The inventory of the estate included: No personal property.
Real Estate
Lots fifteen and sixteen of Rodgers Subdivision in the St. Louis Common Field, a plat of which is of record in the Recorders Office of St. Louis County, containing fifty-two feet ten inches front.
The said lots were acquired by dded from David Rodgers, dated Jun 6th 1857, and recorded in St. Louis County in book 189, page 367 - four lots were acquired by said deed, - two of which were later conveyed by Geo. W. Dutro to Hollman by deed recorded in Book 214 page 284.1
