     Weldon married Effie Emiline "Ellis" Pearson, daughter of Charles M. Pearson and Sarah C. (?), on 2 January 1913.^1,3
     Weldon is a head of household on the 1920 U. S. Census for Jackson Township, Maries County, Missouri, listed as a 26-year-old farm laborer born in Missouri. Enumerated with him were: his wife, Effie Emiline, his son Wilson, his mother Lydia Mariah.⁴ Weldon William Eads and Effie Emiline "Ellis" Pearson moved in 1924 from Maries County, Missouri to Denver, Denver County, Colorado. Moving with Weldon were Wilson "William" Eads.² Weldon William Eads was employed by the Denver, Rio Grande and Western Railroad from 1925 to 1960 until his retirement.²
     Weldon died in 1972 in Colorado.^1,2

     Effie married Weldon William Eads, son of William Simpson "Boler" Eads and Lydia Mariah "Liddie, Big Lydia" Helton, on 2 January 1913.^1,3
     Effie was enumerated as the wife of Weldon William Eads under the name of "Ellie Eads" on the 1920 U.S. Census of Jackson Township, Maries County, Missouri, listed as a married 30-year-old woman born in Missouri as were both of her parents.⁶ Effie Emiline "Ellis" Pearson and Weldon William Eads moved in 1924 from Maries County, Missouri to Denver, Denver County, Colorado. Moving with Effie were Wilson "William" Eads.⁷
     Effie died on 24 June 1928 in Colorado at age 37 of tuberculosis.⁴
     Her funeral service was held on 28 June 1928 at M. E. Church, Vienna, Maries County, Missouri.⁴ She was buried on 28 June 1928 in Vienna Public Cemetery in Vienna, Maries County, Missouri.^2,4,8
