Martha Ann Dodds, daughter of Joseph Dodds and Mattie Drennan, was born on 22 November 1826 in Ball Township, Sangamon County, Illinois.1,3,2
Martha married Strawther Eads, son of William Eads and Rebecca A. Robinson, on 16 April 1846 at Sangamon County, Illinois.1,3 Martha Ann Dodds and Strawther Eads moved circa 1861 from Sangamon County, Illinois to Ohio.1 She and Strawther Eads moved in 1866 from Iowa to Carrollton, Carroll County, Missouri. Moving with Martha were Nancy Eva Eads, Mary Elizabeth Eads, Rebecca Jane "RJ" Eads, William Alexander Eads, Finis Ewing Eads and Martha Alice Eads.1 Martha Ann Dodds and Strawther Eads moved in 1867 from Missouri to Illinois. The undertaker who handled her arrangements was R. W. Burns in Appleton, St. Clair County, Missouri.2 Martha Ann Dodds was buried on 31 October 1913 in Johnstown Cemetery in Johnstown, Bates County, Missouri.7,2
