Funeral services were held in Dixon, Jan 2, for Mrs. Ben Creamer, who died at her home north of Dixon on December 30. The Rev. J.P. Wilbanks officiated, with interment in Waidelich Cemetery.
Mrs. Creamer died suddenly in the home in which she was born, married, and recently celebrated her 56th wedding anniversary.
Allie Lee Creamer, daughter of the late Benjamin and Amanda Eads, was born in Maries County, Missouri on April 30, 1894 and at her passing had attained the age of 74 years, eight months.
On October 16, 1912, she was united in marriage to Ben Creamer and to this union four children were born.
Mrs. Creamer is survived by her husband, Ben; three sons, Marvin and Rockford of Dixon, and William of Rolla; one daughter, Mrs. Ruby Carroll of Dixon; five grandchildren, Kenneth Gene, Kent and Linda Creamer, Connie Thompson and Sandra Bowling. She also leaves two great-grandchildren, Lisa Bowling and Brian Thompson; two sisters, Mrs. Bertie Hutchison and Mrs. Minnie Isenberg of Dixon; besides many other relatives.
In 1908 she was baptized into the fellowship of the Hughes Chapel Methodist Church.
