          Lytle Lambeth, son of Samuel Lambeth and Mary "Polly" Merrill, was born on 11 September 1806 in Rowan County, North Carolina.1,3,2
     Lytle (his first marriage) married Cynthia B. Hart (her first marriage) on 6 February 1828 at Tennessee.1,2 Lytle Lambeth and Cynthia B. Hart moved in 1838 from Tennessee to Gasconade County, Missouri. Moving with Lytle were Mary M. "Polly, Pop" Lambeth, Frances Lambeth, Anna L. Lambeth and Nancy Emeline Lambeth.2
     Lytle Lambeth was listed as the head of a family on the 1840 U.S. Census at Maries Township, Greene County, Missouri. Based on ages, it is possible that the following were also living in the household: Albert H. Lambeth, a free white male under five years old, Anna L. Lambeth, Nancy Emeline Lambeth, Frances Lambeth and Mary M. "Polly, Pop" Lambeth, free white females five and under ten years old, Elizabeth Ann Lambeth, a free white female ten and under fifteen years old.4 Lytle Lambeth and Cynthia B. Hart moved in 1841 from Gasconade County to Maries County, Missouri. Moving with Lytle were Mary M. "Polly, Pop" Lambeth, Frances Lambeth, Anna L. Lambeth, Nancy Emeline Lambeth and Albert H. Lambeth.2 Lytle Lambeth joined in a domestic partnership with Elizabeth Hawkins from 1841 to 1853.2 His wife, Cynthia B. Hart, died on 13 April 1844 at age 34.5
     Lytle (his second marriage) married Sarah Polly Miller "Sallie" Copeland, daughter of William M. Copeland and Martha Elizabeth Taff, on 2 May 1852 at Missouri.1
     Lytle Lambeth appeared as a slave owner in the Slave Schedule of the 1860 U.S. Census at Boone Township, Maries County, Missouri. He owned the following slaves: he owned one black male, age ten.6
     Lytle (his third marriage) married Lucretia Ellis, daughter of William Ellis and Phoebe Lacy, circa 1861 at Missouri.1,7 Lytle and Lucretia had no known children.7
     Lytle died on 13 March 1883 in Missouri at age 76.5 He was buried in Lambeth Cemetery in Maries County, Missouri.5
