The award was given by a local "Breakfast in Hollywood" show in recognition of her charity and good friendliness. She also received an orchid corsage flown in from Hollywood as the eldest lady present at the show.2
     Mary died on 27 May 1957 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Greene County, Missouri, at age 79 of a heart attack and diabetes.1,2
     Her funeral service was held on 31 May 1957 at Birmingham Funeral Home, Vienna, Maries County, Missouri, the service was performed by Reverend Henry Long.2 Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Shockley was buried on 31 May 1957 in Hughes Chapel Cemetery in Maries County, Missouri.2

     He lived with his parents, Elizabeth and John, in 1850 in Pulaski County, Missouri.3      William F. B. "Billy" Goforth, son of John L. Goforth and Elizabeth Henderson, was born on 5 February 1850 in near Lenox Ford on the Gasconade, Maries County, Missouri.2
     He was enumerated with his parent John L. Goforth on the 1850 U. S. Census for Missouri. He was listed as a three-month-old boy born in Missouri.3
     William (his first marriage) married Rachel Copeland, daughter of John Richard Copeland and Mary America Wiseman, in 1877.2 His wife, Rachel Copeland, died in 1881.2
     William (his second marriage) married Martha Jane Eads, daughter of William M. Eads and Elizabeth Finn, in 1883.1,2
     William died in 1912.2 He was buried in 1912 in Dixon, Pulaski County, Missouri.2

She was listed as a married 42-year-old female born in Tennessee as were both of her parents. She had been married for 14 years and had six children, five of whom were still living. She could read, write and speak English.3
     Sarah was enumerated as the wife of Benjamin Simpson "Massy Ben" Eads under the name of "Sarah Eads" on the 1910 U.S. Census of Jackson Township, Missouri, listed as a 52-year-old female born in Tennessee as were both of her parents. She had been married 24 years and had 5 children, four of whom were still living.4
     Sarah died on 5 June 1927 at Jackson Township in Missouri at age 68.2,6,5 Her cause of death was mitral insufficincy, arteriosclerosis and bronchial asthma.5
     The undertaker who handled her arrangements was Jno Fennessey in Vienna, Maries County, Missouri.5 She was buried on 6 June 1927 in Lambeth Cemetery in Maries County, Missouri.2,5
