Games were played and music furnished by John weber was another enjoyment of the time. Gifts of china were presented Miss Houser who is to wed Matthew Gebhardt in June. on 13 May 1911. Guests included Clement Joseph "Clem" Houser, Monica M. Houser, Theodore Arthur Houser, Agnes Houser, Charles Lewis Houser and Clara Cecelia Houser.⁴

     Alvin C. Bohm attended Law School at Washington University, University City, St. Louis County, Missouri.² He was a member of the Shriners.²      Alvin C. Bohm, son of William Henry Bohm and Emma H. C. Smith, was born in 1890 in Illinois.³
     He lived with his parents, Emma and William, in 1920 at Edwardsville Township in Madison County, Illinois.³
     Alvin was enumerated as the son of William Henry Bohm on the 1920 U.S. Census of Edwardsville Township, Illinois, listed as a single 30-year-old male born in Illinois as were both his parents. He was attending law school.³
     On June 1, 1935, the Bohm School District announced plans to build a new school to replace the one that had been in use for more than 60 years. The building originally stood at the intersection of Poag and Bohm roads but had been moved years earlier. The original land was acquired from Fredrick and Sohpia Bohm under a deed dated June 18, 1871 and the buiding was build soon after.. The building and burnace were sold at auction in May 1936 and torn down. Alvin conducted the sale.^4,5
     Alvin C. was an attorney for the Bohm School District in 1935 at Edwardsville, Madison County, Illinois.⁴
     He was elected State's Attorney for two terms, served a attorney for the State Department of Insurance and as Personeel Director of the Alton State Hospital.²
