Gerhardt and Maximilian Francis "Mack" Berg lived from 1922 to 1935 at 3625 Oxford Boulevard in Maplewood, St. Louis County, Missouri, a one-and-one-half-story house in the Greenwood subdivision, lot 6, block 29 built in 1901 on a 60 foot x 135 foot lot, sided in aluminum/Vinyl siding. House has two bedroom and one and one-half baths. Ground floor is 496-square-feet, total living are is 952 square feet. A is main dwelling, 1.5 stories, 496 square feet. B is a 60-square foot open frame porch. C is a 204 square foot wood deck. D is an 84 square foot unfinished basement on lower level and one-story frame house on first level.      She left a will signed 1935 at Maplewood, St. Louis County, Missouri, in which Sylvester Frederick "Syl" Berg was the executor.²⁴ Her will stated "I, Anna Berg, of the City of Maplewood, County of St. Louis, and State of Missouri. being in good health, strength of body and mind, but sensible to the uncertainty of life, and desiring to make disposition of my property and affairs while in health and strength, do hereby make, publish and declare the following to be my Last Will and Testament hereby revoking and cancelling all other or former wills by me at any time made.
Article First. I direct the payment of all my just debts and funeral expenses.
Article Second. After payment of all debts, I bequest to my son Sylvester Berg, the sum of one Dollar ($1.00) and all the remainder of my property both real and personal to my children Viola Berg and Mrs F. M. Winner to be divided in shares of one third to Viola Berg and two thirds to Mrs. F. M. Winner."²⁴ Anna E. Gerhardt lived in 1936 at 3625 Oxford Boulevard in Missouri.²⁵
     Anna died on 19 January 1936 at 3625 Oxford Boulevard in Missouri at age 65, Viola Frances Berg was the informant on the death certificate.³ Her cause of death was chronic myhocarditis.⁷ Her obituary stated:

A tract of land, being part of Block 18 in the Town of Kirkwood, beginning at the S. W. corner of said Block, thence east along the north line of Jefferson Avenue 307' 4" thence north and parallel with Jackson Avenue 160' thence west and parallel to the north line of Jefferson Avenue 307' 4" more or less to a point in the east line of Jackson Avenue, thence south along the east line of Jackson Avenue to the point of beginning; being the S. Your petitioner at private sale on the 4 December 1876 sold the before described tract of land for the sum of three hundred and fifty Dollars, to Johann Knierim -- who has paid to him the said sum of money, and Your Petitioner prays to confirm the said sale and will pray forever.³
