He was a self-employed farmer. He was responsible for the support of his father, mother, sisters, wife and children. He was tall with a medium build, light grey eyes and light brown hair. on 5 June 1917 at Precinct 54, St. Louis County, Missouri.³
     Philip Christian Henry was a general farmer in 1920 at Des Peres Road, St. Louis County, Missouri. The census description is a little misleading according to Philip Henry Lochhaas. The farm located on Manchester Road just north of the Hoehne Quarry was not really adaptable for general farming. Most of it was a peach orchard reaching down to the quarry and there was also a pear orchard fronting on Manchester Road.^11,10 He and Mabel Sophia Hoffmann lived in 1920 at Des Peres Road in Missouri.¹¹
