Henry Juergens died Sunday at his home near Brinktown having been ill since the latter part of February. He was born in Illinois in 1853 and was 86 years, 3 months and 2 days of age.
On February 27, 1890 he was wed to Sophia Charlotte Hale and to them were born six sons and two daughters. One son died in infancy and the surviving are Clemens of near Myerstown; Archie of Greenwood, Mississippi, Jesse of Villa Ridge; George and Dora of Kansas City; Millie Roberds of Jefferson City and Paulina Irvin of the home. Surviving also are twelve grandchildren and two great grand-children. His wife preceded him in death in 1926.
Mr. Juegens will be sadly missed by a wide circle of friends. Funeral services were held at Wheeler, Revered Arthur Septer officiating. Burial was in Crismon Cemetery under the direction of Undertaker Fred H. Gilbert
