THE BLAUE FAMILY

OF

SACHSENBURG

The parish records of Frankenhausen show that members of the family who originally went to Frankenhausen came from Sachsenburg, a small village about 5.5 miles south of Frankenhausen. Parish records for Sachsenburg available on microfilm through the LDS Family History Library date from 1800 to 1875. What is known about the 19th Century family in Sachsenburg comes from those records and the parish records in Frankenhausen. The parish records of the church in Sachsenburg, in 1994, are located in Heldrungen.
