


Letters of Guardianship From Samuel, Obadiah and Daniel Blantine
to Giles Dyer and Samuel Pearce
Know all men by these
presents That We Samuel Blantine, Obadiah Blantine and Daniel Blantine being
all minors above the age of fourteen years, and children of William Blantine
sometime of Boston in the County of Suffolk within his Matys Province of the Massachusetts
Bay in New England, late of Rehoboth in the County of Bristol written the said
Province Housewright deceased, have nominated and chosen and Do hereby nominate, make choice of and depute our trusty
Friends Giles Dyer Merchant and Samuel Pearce Cooper, both of Boston aforesaid
to be our and each of our Guardians.
With full power & authority for us, in our and each of our names and
to our use to ask, demand. Sue for,
recover, receive and take into their possession and custody. All and singular such Estate lying or being
in the County of Suffolk aforesaid as was left unto us by our said Father, or
which by any other ways or means whatsoever. Doth of right belong and accrue
unto us, any or either of us, and to manage, employ & improve the same for
our and each of our best profit and advantage during our expective minority and
to do all and whatsoever may benefit any in and about the premises as fully and
effectually as we ourselves or any or either of us might or could do being of
full age. Praying that they may be
accordingly accepted in the same power and trust. Witness our hands and Seals hereunto let the
Thirtieth Day of January Ano Dno. 1700. Samuel

Blantine & a Seal Signed, Sealed and Delivered in presence of us.

namely, Samuel Blantine, Obadiah Blantine & Daniel Blantine personally
appearing before me the subscriber one of his Maty Justice of the Peace in the
County of Bristol above. Acknowledged
the above written instrument to be their Act and Deed. At Rehoboth the 30th Day of January 1700, in the twelfth
year of his Matys Reign

Instrument or Letter of Guardianship being acknowledged by Samuel, Obadiah and Daniel Blantine, the within named Minors, to be their Act and Deed
as is within certified. I do hereby
allow and approve thereof accordingly And In Testimony of the same have
thereunto Let my hand and the Seal of the Court of Probate for the County of
Suffolk dated at Boston in the P. County the Twenty Fifth day of February anno
Dno. 1700.
