Before me, W. F. D. Barnett a Notary Public in and for Johnson County said State of Texas this day personally appeared Sarah Basham well known to me and being sworn in due form of law deposes and says on oath, that the heirs of John Blanton, deceased, at his death was Benj. Blanton, David Blanton, Elisha Blanton and Elijah Blanton they are all dead. The heirs of Elisha Blanton are five namely, Alice Valin residence Newton County, Ark, she is dead but her heirs are there, John Blanton resides in Red River County, Texas, Charles W. Blanton resides in Collin County, Texas, Elisha Blanton resides I believe in Titus County near Hickory Hill P.O. in Cass County, and I, Sarah Basham resides in Alvarado, Johnson County, Texas. John Blanton died I believe in the year A.D. 1840 in Red River County, Texas.

McAnear well known to me and being sworn in due form of law says that he is well acquainted with Sarah Basham whose name appears to the preceeding affidavit and knows her to be the very identical person that she represents herself to be and that the facts set forth in her affidavit is true, and further says that his is not an interested party,
